Cycling with trucks, cowshit and empty beach bars. [video report]

Roaming cows just outside Batumi.
Roaming cows just outside Batumi.

Heading to the mountains on a rather shitty bike, I knew it was gonna be a story again. The bike haven't seen a mechanic since the last revolution I think... and that was the best the rental guy had to offer. Proper Georgian style. If it works, what are you complaining about, plus it costs literary few dollars for whole day, so I kept my mouth shut and embarked on my journey.

In Batumi there is quite nice cycle-path following the coast, but after you get off of it your life is in danger. All sorts of trucks are honking at you long in advance like if you couldn't see them or hear their massive engines. Missing few times the right exit my experience gets intense and I am cursing myself. It wasn't a first time I have tried cycling in eastern Europe. Often the roads are just not forth it or are they?

Considering the present situation here in Georgia, Batumi did received fair amount of domestic tourists and the city is pumping now, but on the other hand this is not the case for Gonio - the smaller version of the neighboring city. There the party did not started yet...

But why should I waste your time with static text, when you can play the video already. A little experimental edit this time with dabbing myself in post-production due to camera setup i have used. Enjoy and upvote, I need money for next month's rent haha
