Hello Steemit, I'm sorry it's been a while.
It's been largely out of my control, largely due to lack of internet over the last few weeks. I tried, I really did!
Due to lack of internet on the Cook Islands (and the Phlippines), I'm a little bit behind where I want to be with posting content.

In any case, the beautiful Hahei beach in The Coromandel, on the North Island of New Zealand, was well worth a stop.
Hahei Beach is only a short drive from the equally famous Hot Water Beach (where beach-dwellers can use a small spade to dig into the sand and find hot water springing up) and Cathedral Cove(often considered one of the most scenic spots in New Zealand), so if you’re in the area, it’s easy to visit all three in a day.
According to New Zealand.com,
Hahei, located on The Coromandel, is an attractive beach fringed with pohutukawa trees and drifts of pink shells at the northern end. The offshore islands provide something of a breakwater, making this sheltered beach ideal for swimming, boating and fishing.
The coastline to the north and the offshore islands form the boundaries of a marine reserve, making this a popular destination for diving, snorkelling and kayaking. Reefs, caves, archways and soft sediments provide the ideal habitat for a variety of plants, fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
As you’ll see here, the day of our visit was one of beautiful sunshine (with practically not a single cloud in the sky!) and very few people.
