Kamalapur Railway Station || Friday Travel

November 2019 · 3 min read · Dhaka Division

Hello Lovely Peoples,

Today was Friday, which means my weekend. One day a week I try to enjoy the holidays. But today I had to go to Motijheel for another reason. So on this occasion I saw the largest railway station in our country. Because it is very close to Motijheel. It is one of the major railway stations in Bangladesh. Its name is Kamalapur railway station.

So I got the opportunity to go to Kamalapur railway station. I noticed quite a crowd even though it was a holiday. The importance of it is understood by the presence of many people. In our country, basically three systems play an important role in communication. However, many people still prefer to travel by train only. Actually traveling on a train is a different feeling. From here, by train, I have traveled to many places in Bangladesh.

However to me the design looks exceptional and attractive. Especially at night, its lighting system looks nice. Attempts to make it more modern are now underway. In keeping with the original design, it is trying to rely on modern technology, the government is trying to convert it to an advanced railway station. This is truly a wonderful initiative. Because with new technology, we also have to keep up with technology.

The Kamalapur Railway Station was renovated in 1960 but fully opened in 1969. In fact, if something is not complete, then it is not possible to get sufficient benefits from it. However, it is currently in a very important position in Bangladesh's communication system and is playing a very good role in keeping in touch with the whole country.

In fact, any deployment can only play an important role when it is deployed in a convenient location. Considering that aspect, the Kamalapur Railway Station has been set up in a wonderful place. Due to which the importance of it is increasing day by day. The main advantage is that it is located near the main business area of the heart of Dhaka. Because of this, there is great benefit for people of all levels and in maintaining communication.

The architect designed the beautiful design, Mr. Robert Bougie, the architect of the United States. Honestly his skills are still rippling through it. However, at least 50 trains depart from this railway station every day in different regions of Bangladesh. Thousands of people come here every day. Due to which people have to travel all day here.

Anyway, friends I've tried, to give everyone some ideas about the setup. Because in every country there are important structures that hold the traditions of that country. It is just as important a building in our country.
