Our country has many beautiful historical sites and historical structures of the past. That which still remains as symbols of history with our memorable heritage still exists among us. Through these we can remember past history in a fresh way and give our present generation the knowledge of the past. Because of this, whenever I have the opportunity, I go to visit all these past structures.

Tangail district is not too far from Dhaka city. There are many famous places in Tangail district, many past signs are still there. Because of the development of several Mahera Jamidar Bari in this area during the Mughal period. Those whose signs still remain. And one of them is the house of Mahera Jamidar Bari. In fact, the Mahera Jamidar Bari started in 1890.

We set out in the morning for a visit to the Mahera Jamidar Bari, as planned by a few colleagues in the office. The morning was as normal as other days, but it was a bit colder. There was a great feelings between us about the tour. In fact, we all have an interest in the history of the past, an interest that we were feeling.

However, the house of Mahera Jamidar Bari is located in Tangail district and is the most attractive tourist spot. It is located 18 km from the town of Tangail. This historic landlord's house was built on a total of 8 acres with various structures.

History shows that the land was centrally controlled by the Zamidari system of the region. But the Mahera Jamidar Bari is currently being run as a police training camp school.
