Looking at Christmas Close Up & Knowing what Christmas is all About.

December 2019 · 4 min read · Bangkok

Every year at this of the year December the whole world lights up and becomes much more joyful and happy i think most people i for one would love to see it like this every day of the year it just has a beautiful feel of love and joy in the air well we can always dream and make ourselves feel that way dreams are free.

Christmas is not only for the kids getting there presents from Santa because they have been good kids during the year but we also look at Christmas as a celebration remembering the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God and remembering that Jesus Christ died for us and then came back to life.

So hence Christmas has become a annual festival around the world commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ observed primarily on December 25th of every year as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

So today i felt in a real Christmas spirit so i took to the streets of Bangkok city for my #wednesdaywalk to catch that Christmas spirit close up and enjoy the feel of the people.

I left my apartment later in the afternoon because i was intending to catch the Christmas spirit at night more people our out walking the streets at night. Bangkok city at that time is much cooler and the city just lights up in a magical way.

I walked many streets and parks just to try and catch the beauty of that Christmas spirit close up this one shopping mall had this beautiful Christmas sledge all lit up with presents loaded up ready for Santa to deliver to all them good kids.

These little characters were so cute just hanging around in the hollow area of Santa's Sledge waiting to go for a ride with him to deliver the presents.

I can never get enough of Christmas in Bangkok city i would love to see it like this everyday some of the decorations you see around Bangkok city just leaves you in just such imagination you are looking at it and wondering how is this possible the time and effort and designing would take days of work and what a presentation it turns out to be and how awesome it looks with all them thousands of tiny colorful lights.

We understand that Christmas Day is an annual celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ but also there is the popularity custom of celebrating Christmas also include gift giving, sending holiday cards, Christmas trees and lights, caroling, a feast and church celebrations which makes that Christmas all so much wonderful.

The Christmas gift reminds us of how God gave us the gift of His Son and that Jesus Christ gave us the greatest gift of all. Giving gifts is meant to be a symbol of love and kindness and remembrance of the gift of eternal life made possible by the Savior.

I must say i have really enjoyed walking Bangkok city today and i don't really want to go home even though i have been walking around for hours i am down by the Bangkok river now seen some beautiful fireworks which is ending my day with a bang and a big smile on my face so i will say Merry Christmas to you all hope you all had a wonderful day and keep enjoying the festival days.
