SteemFest for the Steemers ShopAholics.

November 2019 · 5 min read · Lumphini Subdistrict

With SteemFest just been around the corner i like to introduce to you a few shopping malls that would be a fun day spent in Bangkok wondering around whether you are a window shopper or a shopaholic you will love these malls immensely. Let me start you with the the most popular mall that is well known by most people around the world that have visited Bangkok and this is called the MBK Center.

1- MBK CENTER SHOPPING MALL !!

This mall will have everything you can possibly dream of and if they don't have it their they will find it for you. It has a whole floor or every brand mobile phones and mobile phone accessories.*

Then it has a whole floor of every name brand camera on the market this will really blow away Steemers it's camera paradise. Also spy camera's and security camera's are available.

Of course apart from all the electronics it has many clothing stores , shoes , handbags , jewelry and the list goes on and a great cheap food court. What i love about this mall is everything is within price range for the average shopper.

Right opposite MBK Center is Siam Discovery another huge shopping mall that starts from MBK Center and walks you through to Siam Paragon.

2 - SIAM PARAGON SHOPPING MALL !!

Once you have got to MBK Center either by Skytrian , Taxi or Tuk Tuk and you are done their you can walk back along the skywalk bridge which will lead you into the Siam Discovery Mall and walking through that mall will lead you to Siam Paragon Mall or you can get the Skytrain from MBK Center back to Siam Paragon Mall only one stop from MBK Center.

Siam Paragon Mall is a more high end shopping mall with all the major brand names , gourmet market and many exclusive restaurants but it also caters for the average shoppers with a very superb food court a very interesting classy mall. The Christmas decorations at this mall are always entertaining every Christmas year.

After having a browse around Siam Paragon you can then walk along further and you will come to Central World Mall now this mall you will probably need a full day and maybe more you will definitely loose yourself in this mall.

3 - CENTRAL WORLD SHOPPING MALL !!

Another mall with all the brand names , exclusive restaurants , many coffee shops but what i like about all these malls they all have section normally on the lower floors with huge discounts where you can pick up some great bargains.

Once you are in the Central World shopping area you have Big C , Platinum Mall and huge Bangkok Bargain Market which are all around you in walking distance honestly you will not know where to look first i have been living here for 10 years now and i am still discovering back street markets in this area it's just a gourmet market and mall area.

All so beautifully furbished and so nicely clean you feel like your in a five star hotel. This one is the Gaysorn Mall opposite Central World Mall.

4 - GAYSORN SHOPPING MALL !!

Big C supermarket across the road from Central World if you would like some nice fruits to eat or a nice ice coffee and also has a nice super food court.

5 - BIG C SUPERCENTER MALL !!

And if you still haven't had enough just back on the Skytrain and head over to IconSiam over by the ChaoPhraya river a free IconSiam shuttle boat will take you across the river to this mother of all malls.

6 - ICONSIAM SHOPPING MALL !!

This mall will blow you away it's like a city of it's own i can't begin to tell you what you will see in here apart that it has the everything you could every imagine. Including the most awesome Thai Village food court ,Thai foods from every province of Thailand and upstairs all the Japanese Sushi you can think of including Vietnam , Chinese and Bali restaurants.

And the views from this mall over the river are just outstanding i would love to own a condo next to this mall which they do have condo's for sale that are in conjunction with the mall.

I have been to this mall several times still haven't seen it all and it gets better every time i go back my favorite mall in Bangkok in the prefect location by the river with a nice view and a cool breeze for a beer on the fourth floor outside patio bar.
