Adventures To Lake Holon | Camping Part II

Look at me beside the wonderful bluish greenish lake. You jealous? Of course you are! Who wouldn't want to go to this magical place?

After an hour of staying at the peak of Mount Parker in the Part I of this adventure, we started going down the hill to go beside Lake Holon and camp there. While trekking, it started raining. I didn't bother to stop and fix my things to avoid them getting wet because I was expecting the rain to just go away immediately and we will reach the destination right away. But man, I was wrong. It was too late when I realized that the rain won't stop soon and that everything in me was wet (no, not including that part).

When we reached the campsite, yeah my dumb ass was right. All of my clothes were wet and I knew from that moment I was fucked up... because you know, we were still a thousand meters above sea level and it was misty, so it was impossible to air-dry the things. And I get cold easily, probably because not enough fat to give me heat. Well, I guess I just have to deal with it and die from the coldness, just like my heart.

Hugging myself in the corner, I saw my mates running to the lake and enjoying the cold water. I was thinking "Well, I'm not shivering as of the moment so might as well run in there and probably have a frostbite". And so I ran and put my body into the cold icy water because YOLO. But boom. I was so surprised with myself because it was cold but I wasn't dying yet... my friend was shocked seeing me there too, as she knows my "condition". Honestly, I don't know what happened. Probably my body learned to regulate heat because I started working out? (I'm not even sure of what I'm saying) Or the guardians of the lake blessed me with this ability? Nobody knows. But one thing is for sure - I conquered another shit! Yeah, I'm amazing.

We ate our lunch and started setting up the tents. I immediately changed my clothes with semi-wet ones and went to sleep because I haven't slept yet. We woke up at night, ate our dinner and bonded with them a bit. Of course, it was colder at night and I only have two shirts in my body, so I wasn't able to try and shoot the lovely stars. :(
My friend and I just talked about our lives that night until we fell asleep.

And the morning came...

Our lovely view from the tent!

We drank our coffee and took some pictures.

Friend with her coffee and enjoying a free foot spa. Because there are some tiny fish in there that will bite your feet and uhmm.. eat the dead skin cells or something. I'm ticklish so I didn't allow those naughty fishes to bite me.

The sun was rising and we ate our breakfast.

Dried fish.

Hotdogs, meatloaf, dried fish and bitter melon with egg. Of course, we had rice but I just didn't include it in the pic lol.

After our breakfast, we started fixing our things and prepared to go. More pictures, of course.

They said nobody has ever gotten to the bottom of this lake yet. So who knows what's under... are we gonna expect some giant anaconda and some cute creatures?

I'm not even exaggerating with the editing. This was really blue in person. It's just that the clouds let the sun show itself during this shot, thus, it's more bluishy in this shot than in the others. :P

It was a bit sad we are leaving too soon. :(
I was looking forward to the kayaking but yeah I'll just do it when we come back here.

More cringey pics of myself. Deal with it, suckers!
