Trail to Shivlinga

There is a very famous and huge waterfall that falls from a height of 200 feet. As the winter comes, the water of the spring decreases and day-by-day starts to solidify. In the month of January and February, it becomes a 25-feet-high natural frozen Shivlinga with water from this spring. Local residents consider this place to be very sacred and worship here every day.

The Anjani mahadev area

History :
It is said that Kesari's wife and Hanuman's mother Anjani used to meditate of Shiva here. Pleased with the penance of Anjani, Lord Shiva gave Hanuman in the form of a son to her. In the four eras, Hanuman ji later called Ram Bhakta (Follower). The water fountain here is also called the Gupta Ganga. Seeing it, it seems like Ganga is emerging from Shiva's jata (Hair yoke). Thousands of people come here in the summers to visit Anjani Mahadev. Baba Prakash Purna Ji has described this place as Abhinav Amarnath.

Sri Sri 1008 Saint Shiromani Guru Prakash Purne Ji Maharaj

Baba Prakashpuri ji had been roaming around in Himachal Pradesh for the last 50 years. On 23rd January, 1995, Baba ji along with few sadhu's and devotees from Vashisht, Nehrukund, Burua, Shanaag and Manjhanch village visited Anjani stream in solang valley adjacent to Manali. Baba ji and the devotees saw a Shivligam formed of snow at a flattened place of hill. The devotees became curious and asked Baba ji the secret behind formation of Shivlingam at a particular place and its significance. Divine as Baba ji was, he could see from internal vision and declared that "Anjani Mata The
(Goddess mother of Hanuman) performed rigid penance here of lord Shiva and being pleased hence it is appeared in this form". Since then for some months in winter season the Shivlingam is formed every year. Baba ji also said that in years to come it would become the holiest, religious, pious and sacred place and gave it a holy name of "Anjani Mahadev".

When Baba Prakashpuri was leaving the body

Today when I got bored, left for Anjani Mahadev's alone. I covered the 2.5 km in just 30 minutes with the overall ascent of 400 meters. Nowadays, the entire Himalayas have covered the white sheet of snow, due to which a heavy drop in temperature is being recorded. The holy Shivaling is also started Solidify. After coming out of the temple, all the pilgrims were given a prasad and after that I came back after spending some time there.
