Japan has a massive and complex train route, in most places you can travel it and can be reached by train.
I and my wife haven't used a train for almost 3 years because of the pandemic mandate protocol that strict many people from traveling. This train is rapid express going to Aoto then we need a transfer from Aoto to Ueno station. It has been a long time since I felt this feeling on stepping on a train lol hehehe Here we can see the complex route of the Japanese train, and the color of the line differentiates what kind of train you can use. If you will go far by distance then I will suggest to rapid express because the local train has many stops so reaching your destination can be time consuming if you go local. Our trip cost 1,050 yen and the duration is 91 minutes Japanese people have the highest discipline when traveling using the train, often times no one is talking loud, strictly no eating and the phone is advice to be on silent mode to avoid distraction. We finally arrive at our destination at Keisei Ueno Station which is 10 minutes from our hotel. This is Ueno, a very populated place in Tokyo.Travel Resources for your trip to Japan
