They had “The Worst Road” in my entire travel experience around the Philippines. I hope the road will be fixed when I come back next time. The caretaker said, they will have it flattened for the holy week coz the religious will have the station of the cross there.
My gazillion star accomodation
I salute to the “Habal-habal” motorbike drivers going up there. They really have a good decision making in choosing the right path. Its literally one-way road wherein only the wheels can pass. 😂 The driver said, he have to drive 4-6 time back and forth in a day. Although he asked for 100 pesos instead of 40 pesos. I didn't hesitate to give him the fare directly. I didn't even bother to haggle. I was happy we made it safe.
The Garden
I’m very proud to say I survived their extreme road. 😂 To the point that I just walked going down for more than an hour, just to make sure I will arrive safe. 😂 I was making an early penitence for the holy week. Is it 12 or 15 stations of the cross 😂 We walked for more than an hour going down.
TIP: Climb up there if you want better signal reception
They charge 200 pesos per night for the "Bahay Kubo" nipa hut accomodation. We didn't have to pay since my friend Jaypee brought 2 tents. We just paid 30 pesos each for the entrance. The park is solar powered, you can see both sunrise and sunset. Its overlooking Masbate City. Make sure to bring extra power banks and a jacket. Its a bit chilly there during the night. We were lucky the weather cooperate. We had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed stargazing.
