AU Night Club in Danang Vietnam

Address :
254 Võ Nguyên Giáp, Phước Mỹ, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Vietnam

Along the sunrise strip in Danang is an old mud spa that has recently been bought out by a bunch of Russian nightclub owners, and been transformed into a happening hip nighttime spot.

The evening started much like my evening start, at a local bar. A friend who I met recently strolled on by said hi and we got to talking. Turns out they were on their way to a birthday party at one of their friends houses and I offered to give them a lift.

The party was in the small alleyway in the city, but after a few glasses of wine, these Russian party animals said let's go to the new nightclub that is opening!

A motorbike ride across town down to the beach, a few wrong turns, and then we were there. My friend held the glass of wine with them the whole time as we rode, how they held onto it I don't know but no drops were spilt.

There was a staff that was courteous to greet us and say hello, and allow me to take some photos of them.

Being that this was their grand opening there was a copious amount of flowers from well-wishers. Also in this photo it looks rather spooky looking up at this place, like the Castle Dracula but it was nice inside.

Upon entering the nightclub you proceed up an escalator ... it was a colorful tunnel of light which I would imagine traveling to the afterlife might be like. If your afterlife is a disco nightclub run by Russian gangsters... Which may well be who knows.

They did this pretty sweet set up so I stop get my picture taken, and if you excuse me for a moment and I toot my own horn, I might have to say that I looked pretty damn good. Toot toot.

The onsite photographer took a picture me a bit closer. And yes that is a gold foiled chair.. HAHAHAHAHA

If I could say one thing about this nightclub I have to use the word "lasers"... Like lasers everywhere, I think my beer had a laser and it, and the lasers had lasers on them. For real this photo does not do justice to the sheer number of beaming laser lights.

But inside the nightclub look pretty cool, there was a lot of LED screens, very few people dancing but I guess that is a Vietnamese thing.

I did some exploring as well and kinda walked to the second floor and appreciated the chandelier they had. It reminded me of an alien tractor beam abducting some poor farm animal for experiments.

From the second floor you kinda see a bit more of the people and this wicked huge sculpture of a steam punk lady, perhaps a raving person ... but was just a massive gold figure. Reminds me of something you might see in Gotham city.

Here's a picture from the floor looking up at her. I don't really understand the design motif with itbut hey, what do I know. I guess it's a conversational piece?

20210227_231945.jpg

Oh and speaking of conversational pieces, when I went to the restroom they had actual factual gold urinals... Yes gold. I wonder if the women's restroom had gold toilets....

20210228_000341.jpg

In fact the whole bathroom was a motif of gold, again strange choice but okay. I'm not one to make fun of it, I'll do my business in the seed of luxury.

They also had some other hidden elements around the facility that I discovered while exploring such as this vault door with a giant dollar bill sign on. To me it seems rather haphazardly placed just hanging out... Mental note though that when HIVE hits $10 a token, I need to invest in a giant gold dollar bill door.. HAHAHAH.

They also had these spooky rooms are sort of empty with just the lights on, I could totally see some kung fu action flick playing out here.

anyways, the AU you nightclub in Danang Vietnam.... it is something to see. How they're going to stay open during this Corona pandemic, IDK... But it is in a nice location.

20210227_231829.jpg

They have some strange entertainment...

However I would say it is a good time and I give it about an 8/10.
