Lê Văn Duyệt st - The Golden Bay of Danang

The Golden Bay of Danang I have to say, the Golden Bay of Danang is one of the most interesting and beautiful sights that I have seen. It is absolutely gorgeous. Imagine if you will, a wide blue ocean churning with gentle waves rolling back and forth. A thick beautiful forest spreads out in front of you, tall mountains off in the distance. The golden sand sparkles as the sun shines down from overhead. This is what I saw when I walked up to the Golden Bay of Danang.

Standing on the shoreline and looking out across the bay is such a beautiful sight. Especially in the evening, when the sun sets to the west, it lights up the bay with sparkling magic. It’s a great place to sit and just enjoy the moment.

I went on a ride with my friend Dan, we went to this area take some photos. Of course the police did kick out, but we ended up traveling down to the end of the road were no tourists, there we got to sit peacefully and watch the sunset.

Here's the location we set.

Here are some photos from this memorable moment.

They are building a new pier this location so there is a bunch of construction at the end of the road, also a lot of sand underneath the tires that could cause your bike to slip just be aware.

There was another photographer who was set also enjoying this wonderful sunset.

You can look back and see the city and the Thuận Phước bridge.

When you look out across the bay, see the distant community of Hòa Hiệp Nam, and the mountain range of the Hải Vân pass in the distance.

While waiting for the sun to set I did explore and take some pictures of the surrounding area like this ladder leading into the abyss.

At the end of the peer there was a few kids taking photos I took this picture of the stranger right not know but they were happy.

Thuận Phước bridge stretching from the beachside the city to the city side of the city.

In the summer a lot of humidity forms in the sky over the city as water is evaporated from the jungle and the ocean, so you get giant fluffy clouds, however I'm told that in the fall and winter these clouds are not so much in the sunset is even more impressive.

Those endless mountain ranges in the distance slowly fading away like magic

shots (45).jpg

I'm told that there be a new marina builds here where yachts will eventually be parked... How true it is I do not know

shots (46).jpg

With every passing moment the sun kept dipping farther and farther into the horizon, waiting for it to dip below the mountain range.

shots (47).jpg

Fiery sky, purple mountains, epic rays of light... Truly a great place to watch the sunset

shots (50).jpg

I end up playing a little more my settings on the camera and adjusted the white balancing to create a more realistic tone range.

shots (51).jpg

I also played a little more with perspective and try to capture the sunset from different angles.

shots (60).jpg

I really like the foreground of the cement with the sun in the background.

shots (61).jpg

Just a beautiful setting sun, those colors were on point.

shots (62).jpg

I also try to capture some more plant life to create different feelings.

After this we drove around little longer and took photos on top of the bridge which I'll post later on. :)

The golden day of Danang is a fantastic place. On the side of the bay where we were the sunset is fantastic however if you take an early drive to the top of the Hải Vân pass, you can catch a remarkable sunrise over the bay as well.

I hope you enjoyed these sunset photos. I took the photos while it was a beautiful evening, and it was nice to get home afterward and have a drink to undwind, also to walk the pup.

Did you enjoy them? What did you think? Leave me a comment below!

As always thanks for being a reader and I hope to see you back here again.
