Hello traveller,

Today, I’ll continue write you about of the trip (photo - reports) to Rio de Janeiro, at 2013. I didn't think to talk about the Christ the Redeemer or Christ of the Corcovado neither Sugarloaf mountain Cable Car, there are many posts on Steemit about it. But later of I was deep in meditation, I said to myself, each trip has its own charm, it presents a unique perspective and worthy to be told by traveller.

It was a cloudy and rainy morning, I was thrilled for tour plan that day: visit the Corcovado Christ and the Sugarloaf Cable Car. At that moment, I didn’t know that colossal statue of Christ was included among world seven wonders.

By bus, I was transferred from the hotel in Copacabana to the train station of Corcovado in the national park Tijuca, at less than 20 minutes. Already inside the station, I comfortably waited a little longer, until boarding in a small red electric train car that would take me to the top of the hill.

I was dressed in casual clothes almost beach, it was the month of May in the southern hemisphere, I supposed it would be very hot, but I did not anticipate the rain, although little was enough to make the environment very cool, without rain coat, I had something of cold.

However, despite the cloudy sky, the view of the bay was impressive from the top, I did not care about the rain, just the experience seeing from the heights the contour of the encounter between beach and sea, touristic buildings, famous and the large Favelas. Totally fascinating.

At afternoon, in the visit to Sugarloaf mountain, the place offers the tourist another panorama of the city. On the funicular route, slow and silent, it allowed me to see the vastness of the city of Rio de Janeiro suspended over the incipient beginning of the South Atlantic Ocean.

Once tour was over, I wondered: How many things did I have left to see?

Today, I would like to meet the pending somethings from Rio, so as of others world places, through the stories and anecdotes of others fellow traveller.

I hope you have enjoyed my shots about Corcovado Christ and Sugarloaf Mountain Cable Car in Rio de Janeiro City.
