Hello everyone,

In May 2013, I went on a study tour in Rio de Janeiro. On that occasion, when we go to the convention hall, we crossed the road where a Roberto Carlos's house is. The famous singer-songwriter of the song a million friends, in the seventies.

I don't remember the name of the street, but the view of that part of the bay is impossible to forget. Packed with small sailboats.

How many times would he see the sea? How many times sitting on the shore wrote his beautiful songs? I imagine him just singing his great successes.

Their songs are probably not as well-known in English, but we know that music is a universal language.

Now, thanks to the internet, we can enjoy with subtitles. The original versions are in Portuguese, but you will also find in Spanish, Italian and some in English such as: You will remember me, pure poetry.
