Leyte Escapade # 1 : Palompon's Island Paradise, KALANGGAMAN

Good day Travelers!

Summer break has always been an exciting time of the year where people go out, travel, and get more chance to taste different places with friends and families for relaxation and fun. Well, I have here my kind of summer vacation which shall I say, one of the best vacations so far in my existence. Haha! A lot of things and fun which I didn't foresee and expect to be tried in the place were experienced for the first time. Undeniably, they made my summer story even more amusing and gratifyingly awesome.

Alright! I'm here Kalanggaman! Jump! Jump! Jump!

Leggo! Let's travel...

KALANGGAMAN ISLAND

Palompon, Leyte, Philippines

Leyte's Little Island Paradise as what I label it, was the team's first chosen stop. Finally, after the six-hour travel all the way from Cebu, I got to experience this stunner personally and gotta say, "It was all worth it!" Did I sound like, "I set aside things, extended much effort and travel far and wide just to see this wonder"? I hope, I didn't! (Well, monologue have just happened.) Just bear with my babbling. Haha! And so...

Indeed a Palompon's pride! Incredibly scenic!

Kalanggaman's long sandbar, a stretch of creamy white sugary sands with its beach water, from clear Turquoise to Azure to darker shades of Blue simply screams of its pristine. Ohhhh! This is just so perfect! Stunning beyond compare! But oops! Be careful! The sandbar has also pieces of coral stones which in the case will most likely hurt you if you're gonna walk barefoot or lay flat on your back. Well anyway, the view is just so picturesque that the team hadn't contained the resistance to camera grabbing, and took a thousand photos of it.

But it didn't end just there. It went to a more entertaining, hair swaying, and breeze-calling adventure. Yayyyy! Jet skiing is real. Who would have thought that with my 250.00 Php, I could enjoy the ride as much as paying the 3,000.00 Php rental fee per hour? Haha! Well, it went this way, the team had divided the rental fee/hour by the head counts to save more, and gave each a 20-minute moment with the Jetski. With @trydaily and @nerissappc's fee contribution that's bigger than the rest, I gotta ridiculously ask, "Where would your 250.00 Php take you?" Kidding aside, here's what it got me:

Prepping for the super fun ride. Life vest's on!

Alright! It starts drifting!

It drifts even farther. So much fun!

The most flattering arrival. Somebody's patiently waiting. Haha! Oh my! Let me contain my babbling.

That's my 250.00 Php Kalanggaman Island story...

Aside from Jetskiing, there are still more aqua sports that you can enjoy in the Island. They include: Banana boating, Stand-up paddle boarding and Kayaking, Snorkeling and more.

It still didn't end there. The team was all up for pictorials. Well, who wouldn't like that? With this stunning look of nature? Would you refuse to take photo souvenir of it? I don't think so. It's irresistible beyond anything! So,

1... 2... 3... Say CHEESE!

Yeah! It ended fabulously!

It was indeed an honor to finally experience Kalanggaman Island and feel more the majesty of the Father above for such creation. It's truly amazing!

That's it for now friends! I hope you have fun! Would you care to share your summer story too? Then that would be great!

'til then,

@jenesa
