My entries are a series of photos from my time in Arizona USA
Jerry on the Lemmon,Tucson Az.jpg

I was in the US Air Force, stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson Az
From Aug 1976-May 1980.
This city and base are surrounded by mountains. Mt Lemmon in the
Catalina Mnts. is the highest. I did a LOT of hiking on and around
That mountain. Great place, great experiences. For a person who
Grew up in the flatland pine forests and swampy riversides of
South Georgia USA, you couldn't get much different terrain if you tried,
And I reveled in it! I was always walking the woods at home in Ga, so in
Arizona, it was natural for me to hike, and I did a LOT of it, both on the
Mountains and in the surrounding Deserts (which were in truth, not
Deserts at all, since they were filled with life)
My Sisters Ass edit.jpg

In 1977, my sister brought her two kids and our Mama out to visit me.
While there we made a whirlwind trip up to the Grand Canyon, where
I took this shot (I call it 'my sister's ass 😈) Then we continued over to
California so they could say they had seen the Pacific Ocean.

Taking Flight II.jpg

Then again, back on Mt Lemmon
(at a different date, my family were gone by then)
Being young, healthy and foolish, I took a lot of unnecessary risks.
My roommate caught me in 'mid flight', jumping across a 40 ft deep
Gap through which a stream would flow when there had been rain.

This will give you a better view of 'the big picture'
