In my post yesterday I showed you two photos of Castle Bled, which I made during my short break yesterday at Lake Bled.

In meinem gestrigen Posting habe ich euch zwei Fotos der Burg von Bled gezeigt, welche ich während meiner kurzen Pause gestern am Bleder See gemacht habe.

This castle can also be seen on today's photos, but the main motive of today's photo series is the small island in the lake with the church on it.

Diese Burg ist auch auf den heutigen Fotos zu sehen, aber das Hauptmotiv der heutigen Fotoserie ist die kleine Insel im See mit der Kirche darauf.

The island is called "Blejski Otok", and on it there is a church of St. Mary, and you also can see various excavations.

Die Insel trägt den Namen "Blejski Otok" und auf ihr befindet sich eine Marienkirche sowie kann man sich verschiedene Ausgrabungen ansehen.

Next time I would like to walk around the lake and take other pictures of the lake and the island. Maybe I'll go to the island with one of the wooden rowing boats

Nächstes Mal möchte ich gerne um den See spazieren und andere Ansichten des Sees und der Insel fotografieren. Vielleicht fahre ich auch mit einem der Holzruderboote auf die Insel.

The lake has a total area of 0.56 sq mi. It is about 1.3 mi long and up to 0.87 mi wide. The maximum depth of the lake is 98 ft.

Der See hat eine Gesamtfläche von 1,45 Quadratkilometern. Er ist ca 2,1 km lang und bis zu 1,4 km breit. Die maximale Tiefe des Sees beträgt 30 Meter.
