Corona Virus situation in Thailand March 2020— Military and More!

March 2020 · 2 min read · Phitsanulok

The other day we talked about “social distancing” in Thailand as a way to limit the Covid 19 spread. Today we look at other important measures by the Thai community. This includes the military, the local hospitals and others.

As in other countries, the Military is now being used to support the response to the virus. This includes their own internal measures in making sure “they” are healthy and able to respond. This means that each must be tested via temperature for fever and properly wearing masks as not to spread the virus.

The Military is working within communities and may be helping families or small business so they have to be healthy first.

As they reach out to small business and educate them on the virus and perhaps there business hour restrictions that they do not understand or communicate to the small business the importance of self protection. All is needed to help the community get through these times. We see charity from Hospitals such as Camp Hospital (below) in donations and many others who try to help the in a way they can contribute.

This is another positive message from the people of Thailand. We talked about how people are helping the monks with donations. We talk about how people are making masks at home and donating to those in need. And now we talk about the Military doing their part. As you can see, this need to limit the virus spread. Is a “total effort” from each member or group. It’s efforts like these that will be effective. We thank all those who are doing their part and pray for health and safety for all.
