Tourist attraction Thai Buffalo Village, Thailand!

March 2020 · 2 min read · Suphan Buri Province

Are you looking for a nice tourist attraction for your children and family near Bangkok? About 1 hour drive away is a quaint park called Thai Buffalo Village located in Suphan Buri province. Of course you are wondering what would be in a “buffalo village”? Why of course ....live and fake buffaloes :-)

For a small entry fee of 30 THB per person you can enjoy nice park grounds, small coffee shop and Thai Food at a reasonable price.

There’s are not small animals by any means as you can see in the photo. My family and I enjoyed the chance to take in the park and enjoy the day.

The family love it. We drove from our village and it gave the children a chance to see something different and of course they enjoyed the animals and park area.

Buffaloes were a very important animal in Thailand years ago. They were used in farming to help pull the plows to plant crops. Obviously, today the farms have tractors they use to help with the crops.

It also give you a chance to improve on your photography skills as everyone wants to have their picture taken and also a few photos of the animals too!

These are photos that are keepers, my niece enjoying her food as usual. This look is priceless.

Cool drinks are a necessity in Thailand when you go out and this park is no different. We enjoyed our Thai Ice Tea drinks and coffee drinks all day.

There were gift shops were you can buy authentic items like these lanterns made from coconut shells....who else has these?

You can feed the buffaloes fresh grass. What a life for the buffaloes compared to their days in the field. They swim around as people pay to feed them grass. Times have really changed.

Its’ simple pleasures like this that can be enjoyed on a small budget and the whole family can enjoy. So if you are in the Bangkok area and looking for a small tourist attraction, check out the Buffalo Village.

PS...you must also have the Thai Iced Coffee!
