Today we will focus on the small village of Leski. This village belongs to the Comintern district. This settlement is still very young. It was founded in 1977.
Foundation History
In the 70s of the last century, the Danube-Dniester irrigation system was under construction. This event began in 1975 and ended in 1985. So, the construction workers worked not only from all over Ukraine. Here were experts from all over the Union. They appealed to the leadership of the region and the commanders of the project to build an irrigation system with a request to create a small village for them and their families. And this is how the fishing line appeared. In 1977, several dozen Finnish houses were built here, where workers and their families lived. Yes, we will talk about the construction of the irrigation system a little later. There is something to tell about!
Fishing line: strawberries and rest
Fishing line - the village where the strawberry has become a symbol. Here it grows everything from small to large. Here you will always find a lot of varieties. Merchants from all over Ukraine gather here. They only serve local strawberries! Earlier, in-line traders also drove into the fishing line. But in recent years, their number has decreased significantly. Yes, it is here that real strawberry growing professionals live and work. But for the cultivation we will talk another time. This is a topic for a separate article.
Fishing lines are attractive because you can get to the center of Odessa by minibus in about 30 minutes (though, if you don't get stuck in traffic). Here you can rent inexpensive housing for the entire vacation time. There are plenty of wild beaches here.
But the highlight is that here you can combine two types of recreation: a pleasant time spending in the lap of nature, surrounded by pines, spruces and other trees, and, directly, swimming in the gentle waves of the Black Sea.
There is a smell of fresh foliage, needles and surf. By the way, in the pictures you can see how beautiful the coast looks in the evening. Yes, and I propose to check out the beauty of the surf.
Why is it worth going to Leski?
It is much calmer here than in the center of Odessa. According to the 2001 census, 543 people lived here. But according to new data, which relate to our time, there are already 1800 people. Fishing lines are built and attract capital.

In Leski you can combine different types of recreation. My friends run to the sea every morning, so as not to swim, but to catch the gobies. Here you can always find a secluded place and be alone with your thoughts, your inner world. Here you can gain spiritual strength before new achievements.
Well? Welcome to visit! Fishing lines are waiting for guests, new acquaintances and wonderful, useful meetings!
