Large-scale reconstruction of the last journey of Jesus Christ in Odessa

Odessa confirms that it is a creative city. It often hosts various cultural events. This time it is planned to hold the most large-scale action of historical subjects. In particular, on April 27 a large-scale reconstruction of the last journey of Jesus Christ will be carried out.

This event will start at 13-30. Venue: Deribasovskaya. This event claims to be the most ambitious in Ukraine. More than 400 actors will take part in the reconstruction. Already prepared copies of the costumes of the beginning of the first century AD. There will be representatives of a wide variety of classes and professions. Spectators will be able to see legionnaires, peasants, fishermen, legionnaires in full battle dress, Maria Magdelen and Pontius Pilate.

During the reconstruction, significant moments of the history of that time will be restored. In particular, the betrayal of Judas, the agreement of the High Priests, the conversation with Herod Antipas, the judgment seat of Pontius Pilate and the last path of Christ to Calvary.
Not only Ukrainians but also reenactors from Italy, Poland and Romania are taking part in restoring those events.

The beginning of the procession is scheduled for 13-30. The procession starts from the corner of Zhukov and Deribasovskaya lane.

Each of us should see this great event. We will be able to vividly imagine how events occurred in those distant times.
