Happy Me on the Eureka Skydeck :)
Happy Me on the Eureka Skydeck :)

The best attraction in our opinion was in Melbourne the Eureka Skydeck. We were there two times! We booked the Sun & Stars package. So we were there once to see Melbourne from very high up at night and in the daytime. In retrospect, I can hardly say what I liked better, I think i liked it better at night. The atmosphere in the tower was just something special at night. With the sun & stars package you can watch Melbourne twice from eureka skydeck, either on the same day in the morning and in the evening or after two consecutive days. The tickets cost $ 23 per person. It's definitely worth it! It was one of our best experiences in Mlebourne and we spent a lot of hours on the Eureka Skydeck.

If you are there at night, you can also order great drinks at a bar. Of course they cost a little more. Overall, you should plan a few hours, but at least 2 hours, because you can not be sure to get a great window seat directly. What happened to me there too: I forgot my wallet with my cards including credit card and cash. The purse was brought directly to the front desk. That really saved my day! What we also experienced: we walked into the edge. That is a glass box with glass walls, even under your feet! It was an exciting but a bit scary experience. Actually we have no fear of heights, but we did not feel very well in the small glass box. Even if it took only a few minutes per group. Especially brave ones have then laid down on the floor.

A few brief facts about the eureka skydeck: the skydeck with its 360 degree view is located on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower. It is about 300 meters above Melbourne. the eureka skydeck was definitely one of our favorite places in Melbourne and definitely a must-do for anyone wanting to visit melbourne. The view was just great especially at sunset, but see for yourself. I have all the photos shot with my canon, there are no smartphone photos;)
