In Bangkok we crossed the river Chao Phraya with a boat almost every day - it was very cheap and boats really stop every minute

Today I would like to introduce you to a place or rather a good possibility to go out for a central dinner. Up to now I had never done something like that here on Steemit and I have to say that we did not eat at the most unusual places, but we did eat centrally and most of the time typically Thai. This will be also a conclusion of all my posts about Thailand, more precisely Bangkok and Chiang Mai. My sister and I would have loved to see a lot more of Thailand, especially the islands and beaches, which are supposed to be really beautiful - but how else could it have happened, our travel budget was slowly coming to an end. But that didn't really come as a surprise for us either, since we hadn't worked in Australia, New Zealand or Thailand for the whole months ;)

On my bucket list are definitely places like Ko Phi Phi, Ko Samui or Ko Chang. I can't wait until the lockdown is finally over. Most likely my next destination will not be so far away from Germany, but it will be the freedom to travel again or at least the feeling of being free.

Even though the restaurant is probably not a super secret tip (we rather visited many sights in Bangkok and had dinner where we were), we already liked the restaurant. Especially the ambiance was nice, although the restaurant is located directly on a busy street and there are bars and souvenir shops right next door. Most of the tourists will pass here once, so if you pass here and are hungry, I can recommend it for the small hunger in between.

The Thanon Rambrutti Road, centrally located - here is the restaurant My Darling. The Bar 999 West I can recommend too ;)

The restaurant My Darlin is located on the Thanon Rambrutti, thus right beside the Khao San road. The restaurant is nicely decorated with different statues. But what we read later on TripAdvisor: other tourists reported stomach problems after dinner (I didn't want to leave that out now, because I want to recommend the restaurant). We did not get stomach aches or other things here in any case, even if we did not eat meat here. But there is one point I have to agree with despite my recommendation: The staff was rather less motivated and not necessarily very friendly. Nevertheless, the atmosphere made up for it ;)

what I only noticed in the creation of the post: The mask that the woman on the motorcycle wears. Somehow quite normal before, but now it has a completely different background. It was strange to see someone with a mask on a picture that was taken before Corona - even though in Bangkok of course many people wore a mask

I hope you enjoyed my post today, unfortunately it will probably be my last or one of my last posts about Thailand. Nevertheless, I will continue to report about my travel experiences, even if you can imagine that my travels were already a few months ago ;) See you next time!
