Matta Travel Fair is one of the biggest travel events in Malaysia with offers many promotions and interesting deals. This exhibition is from 16-18 March and venue as usual held at PWTC.
I am a regular supporter of this event. I decide to park my car at Sunway Putra mall as normally PWTC parking will be full even reach early. I depart from the house around 10 am due to avoid traffic congested and also do not waste my time to looking for parking. This shopping centre is just opposite of PWTC. I manage to reach around 1030am and parked my car at level B2. There is a connection bridge on level one of the shopping centre to Matta Fair.
Luckily the crowd still mild to queue up for purchasing the entrance ticket. The ticket costs RM4. It is advisable to read the floor plan for all the exhibition hall so that you have the idea where to go and just hang out blindly inside the exhibition.
There are total five halls for this year Matta Fair.
Upon purchasing the ticket, I start my first visit to Hall 5 which is exhibited for local travel.
Immediately after step-in into Hall 5, you can see a traditional designed for Sarawak Tourist Board. The promotion of the travel banners are never going out of my sight while wandering inside.
Most of the local theme park such as Legoland, Kidzania, Hello KittyTown, Thomas Town, A’ Famosa, Tambun Lost World also waiting for the customer to selling the discount entrance ticket.
There will be a short foyer to connect from Hall 5 to Hall 4.
Hall four also focusing on domestic tourist board including Malacca, Selangor, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor.
The next is Hall three which including many travel agency which offers some great package tour and also attractive flight promotion. If you like to plan to Indonesia then you should spend more time to research here as Indonesia Tourist Board offers most of the exciting destinations such as Bali, Lombok, Yogyakarta, Medan and others.
I need to cross another bridge to access Hall One and Two which features the international package.
One of the main highlight at Hall One is tourist board from overseas which you can get info from Australia, Korea, New Zealand, Macau, Turkey and Taiwan. You even can purchase some of the pass, ticket entrance and lodging at some of the tourist board.
