Bahamas cruise. Day three. Rest in Nassau.

Since a walk on land on a cruise, as a rule, is one day of standing, then the time for a walk on land is given-a day.
As a rule, the liner sticks to the land at 6-7-8-8 in the morning, all passengers can have Breakfast and go to the land. Some are coming, some are not. But, of course, 90 percent definitely go for a walk.
Went for a walk and we.
We didn't take any excursion to Nassau.
In the previous post (link below) I told you about how we landed.
Where did we go from the dock?
It was our first cruise, it was our first trip ashore on the sea (read in previous posts about why we were not able to go ashore and relax on the island of Coco Cay), we did not know anything then about buying excursions online anywhere in the world, which can be ordered and paid at any time for any trip.
And we also did not use the services of the tour. service aboard a cruise ship.
Let me remind you, everything was with us for the first time.
After reading the Internet about Nassau, we chose one object for ourselves, and went to look for how to get to it.
The object of this was some hotel, on some island, where there is some wonderful beach. : )))

And this hotel is called "The Royal at Atlantis".

So we asked the first drivers who came across, who clogged their small cars with tourists: "How do we get to Atlantis."
And immediately were immersed in one of these machines.
15-20 minutes - and we have already arrived in this very "Atlantis".
As same there it turned out well!!!
This is truly a Bahamian Paradise.

"The Royal at Atlantis" turned out to be a 4* hotel with a large surrounding area and a beach where you can just come and just spend time sunbathing and swimming. Moreover, there is not even one beach, as such, but several beaches from different sides.
The the Royal at Atlantis resort is located next to the ocean on Paradise island.
In advertising brochures write so:

Paradise island is a great choice for travellers interested in beach, relaxation and sunbathing.

We wanted to go through the hotel to one of the beaches, but through the hotel we were not allowed, and the detour to that beach was a long way to go.
So we went on the other beach, on which all quietly missed (indeed do, there simply was the free entry-the exit through hotel and through a handsome tunnel). And we just went where some other people were going.

We go here in a tunnel and some time go through it.

Inside here are such big fish in aquariums.

What did we see when we came out of the tunnel?
Beauty!
The interior of the hotel appeared to us like this pond of wonderful emerald color, where hundreds of rays swam. Imagine hundreds of stingrays!
I stood rooted to the spot and could not tear myself away from the spectacle, photographing from different angles.

You just get into such a magical place, with turquoise water and hundreds of rays, from afar the hotel looks like a castle, there are many trees of different shapes, a lot of greenery, and you get into a fairy tale.
Water gurgles. That is, the reservoir is constantly replenished with new water.

I wonder if this descent into the water is for swimming or for feeding stingrays? Or both? I understand that they are safe there, but still swimming with them would be a little scary for me, and suddenly there are electric rays? Of course, I don't think the hotel understands who is swimming in the pond. But still scary. : )))

But the beauty!!!

We go further around this lake (I do not know how to call it correctly, maybe you need to call it a reservoir). : )))
Beauty and beauty again!

We go further and see the white sand and a small beach where a few people swim.
This small beach just on the shore of this pond, overlooking the hotel.
It was very hot, a row of chairs stood right in the water, people bathed in the water and tried to stay not in the bright sun, but in the shade. We came to this beach in the heat of the day, at lunch. But there were others like us who didn't mind the sun or the heat. The only time I don't really like the water hot, like fresh milk, I prefer water is almost always refreshingly cool. Cold, too, not love.
