Since the next two days of our cruise were at sea, it's time to start talking about the ship we sailed on this cruise.
As I said, and I repeat again, you can choose cruises:
- towards,
- by price,
- according to the class of the liner.
As a rule, the larger the class of the liner, the more expensive it is, but not always.
Sometimes large and luxury liners can go to close distances (for example, to the Bahamas for 3-4 days) and have a fairly cheap price for this cruise.
Much more depends on the time of the cruise, whether it is the season or not for tourism.

We chose from 6 cruise companies, chose by direction, and by duration.
Our criteria for this cruise was not strict: we wanted a cruise for more than a week, 10-12 days. And we wanted, as tourists, to see as many new countries and islands as possible.
Well, the price plays an important role for us too.
We know how and love to count money, and we build our trips with comfort and for reasonable money.

Thus, this time our choice fell on the Royal Caribbean cruise company, a South Caribbean cruise (12 days, 6 ports) and the cruise liner that provided all this turned out to be "Vision of the seas".
The "Vision" class is almost the smallest class of ocean liners.

It turned out to be the twin ship of our ship, on which we went on our first cruise to the Bahamas in 216.
Twin ships are absolutely identical liners in their design and configuration, just with different names.
Therefore, we, in principle, on this ship, from the very first day, were very well oriented, and we knew what should be there and where it was.

Of all the classes of ships, our ship is the smallest in terms of class and size.
Well, in fact, as a passenger, it is, of course, very large.

Pay attention to the windows (portholes).
They are different on different floors (decks) and above are two floors with cabins with balconies.
The larger and higher the liner, the more decks it has with cabins, where there are balconies, and where you can go to these balconies, there are tables and chairs, you can have breakfast, for example, every morning, on your balcony, at a table, right above the ocean , blown by the wind of this ocean, right during the movement of the liner.

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship Vision of the Seas was built in 1998.
Date of the last renovation of the ship: November 2018.
Belongs to the Vision series of ships, has a length of 279 meters and a displacement of 78,340 tons. The ship has 12 decks (of which 10 are passenger decks) and can accommodate up to 2,443 passengers in 1,018 cabins.
The number of service personnel is 765 people.

Traveling everywhere from Alaska to Hawaii, the Vision class of cruise ships is the best option for traveling by water.
These boats have been designed to navigate a wide variety of routes.
While adults can enjoy relaxing sunbathing or a visit to the modern SPA and fitness center, children can spend their time in a dedicated play club.
It is not for nothing that liners of this class are called LINERS OF LIGHT, all because on liners of this class passengers are guaranteed a fantastic view, since more than 50% of the liner is transparent surfaces: stained-glass windows, glass canopies, skylights and portholes in human growth.

Each of the Vision class liners is distinguished by its characteristic style and personality.
Sun-drenched atriums (central halls), white marble staircases, warm wood and brass finishes, sumptuous fountains and foliage, leather furnishings and carefully selected artwork create a warm and inviting ambiance.
Centrum is a hallmark of all Royal Caribbean ships - the Atrium is a combination of breathtaking panoramic views, glass elevators, carved stairs and domed glass ceilings.

These are the layouts of the liner located near the elevators on each floor so that you can find out which floor you are on, and in which direction you need to go, where everything is located.

Inside the liner, everything is beautiful and festive.

I can talk endlessly about the cruise ship and what is on board, what activities, where to go, what to do, so I will stop myself and divide my stories into parts....
But many people want to hear about our excursions in those ports and islands where we visited.

This is a video of the central hall, the atrium, which is made of a kind of glass from the lowest deck to the very top, in which there are transparent elevators, where every evening there are concerts, musicians, where there are bars and reception.

Always a festive atmosphere.

And these are stairs that you can easily and without elevators climb and descend from deck to deck and go outside the liner.
