Las Vegas, part 1.

Las Vegas, part 1.

June 2021 · 3 min read · Las Vegas

We were in the USA three times, each time I started writing about the trip, each time I didn’t finish it to the end.
Probably, the time of long texts and articles is becoming a thing of the past, the transition to resources such as YouTube is visible to the naked eye.
I myself watch almost everything that interests me on YouTube (from TV shows to language learning).
Probably, you just need to write as it is, when the time and desire arises.

As in the case of China, I always write about what I see myself, about what I know for sure, about what is around me.
I don’t know how to lie, I don’t know how to invent, I don’t deal with analytics and forecasts, so with me you can only see real life and real events.

Perhaps I'll start writing about our visit to Las Vegas. We were in Las Vegas on our second trip in 2016, in the fall.
Las Vegas is a wonderful place. I was absolutely delighted.

Las Vegas, in principle, is small, if, as a tourist, you come there, then bypassing the entire entertainment center will not be difficult.
But, if you want to visit different shows, concerts, stand-ups, theaters, then, of course, it will take you a lot of time, many days to visit all this, and money, I must say, too.
We stayed in Las Vegas for 3 or 4 days (I don’t remember exactly), we didn’t go to any events and concerts, we played a little in several casinos (as a standard we won nothing, but we didn’t lose anything. gone) and took a day tour to the Grand Canyon.
I had enough impressions, the desire to go there again remained too. :)))

The Las Vegas airport turned out to be very large, I was amazed when I learned that it receives an incredibly huge number of planes per day.

We became interested in passenger traffic when I saw planes landing in the sky, 7 in a row.
Have you ever seen in the sky, as far as your gaze reaches the horizon, 7 planes one after another to land?
I saw.
I don’t remember the exact number, I won’t come up with and search, google how many flights the Las Vegas airport took, now you need to add everywhere “in dock times”. Apparently, this division into "before" and "after" will remain in history.

We arrived in the evening, so after checking into the hotel, we immediately went for a walk. We lived just 500-700 meters from the central walking street.
At night, Las Vegas is great.

Hotels and casinos, hotels and casinos, shopping malls.
It is a pity that at that time I still did not shoot a lot of videos on my iPhone, so only photos.

We walked along the street and returned to the hotel to rest, so that the next day, already in daylight, we could go for a walk around this wonderful city again.
