Kindness I encountered while travelling: Jaipur

June 2020 · 4 min read · Rajasthan

journey to Jaipur.

Jaipur is a pink city of Rajasthan, very beautiful city. It’s a city of forts, momentous and rajasthani food and culture.

You will fall in love with the city.

My journey:

I am an interior designer. I got a project in Jaipur. I got a chance to travel Jaipur. I was very happy as I know and read about the beauty of the city.

I took a Volvo bus from Delhi Anand parvat for Jaipur.its almost 5 and half hour journey to Jaipur from Delhi. I was supper exited as I love solo trips. I find solo trips more adventures and dig more myself during my journey and during my solo trips. Reached there and reached to my already booked resort. The resort was very beautiful with swimming pool nd bar in it. Its name was natures hut. Very close to nature kinda small forest. I reached there late evening so can’t explore anything. Had my dinner and went to sleep. Next morning got up with the voice of chirping birds, it was amazing. Took shower get ready for my meeting as it was my priority. After meeting my client, all the left time was in my hand to roam around and shopping. As shopping is the first love of ladies.

I took a cab and went to Amer fort it’s half an hour drive from city. Fort was very beautiful and I find it amazing. After 2 hours I started from there to Hawaii mehal. It’s in pink city. When I was roaming in Hawaii mahel. I got a small jerk on my right feet as I was wearing heal I could not able to control and fell down my feet twisted badly. I was crying with pain. Suddenly a man came to help me. I thought he is taking chance or he will snatch my purse. I grabbed my purse with both my hands tightly. But that stranger sat in front of me took my feet on his lap and start rubbing it. And then he gave a tight stretch on right side. I almost shouted at that time. But felt some relief. At the same time his family members who were roaming in Hawa mahel came there. After they came to know my situation that I am alone in that city and now I can’t even walk. They invited me to stay at there place . The family was from Jaipur itself and There house was very near to that place. But I was hesitating and denied. But the person and his wife keep on pressuring as I was not well at all I could not walk even. They didn’t listen to me called a rikshawpular helped me to sit on that and took me their home. They were very helpful and kind. For one whole day I spent with them. They were not strangers anymore for me. They were like my brothers nd sisters, no one can do so much for you without reason but they were very kind and sweet. I was feeling very bad about what I was thinking about him that he will snatch my bag and all. He gave me medicine and that lady gave me hot and cold compression on my foot , next day I was recovered and I was now able to walk. I thanked them so many time, no body help strangers like that. I was very lucky that I found good people. And with eyes full of tears I took leave from there and came back to my resort.
But whenever I think of kindness I remember that family.
