Yesterday was a nice autumn day with a clear sky. It was a good day to have some outside activity and fresh air.
Lately it is not an easy task to find a place where both kids and parents can enjoy (and rest :P). Especially if you have already been to some places, the choices get somewhat limited.
We decided to go to this small petting farm where children can feed animals and play with them. We parked our car nearby the farm and started enjoying the short walk to the petting farm.
I think summer is the favorite season of most people. But if you look around, every season has its own beauty. I really like each season and what they bring. Look at the different colors and contrasts of yellow, green, brown... I really like the nature around this place.
As a software engineer, my job doesn't require a lot of movement. Most of the time I'm behind a desk, working on my laptop. If the weather is not too wet, we take a walk after lunch with some colleagues in order to do some physicial activity (walking :p). But generally speaking, I don't do a lot of physical activities on a daily basis. In the weekend I try to catch up and walk when possible. I must say, even this short walking makes me feel better.
I look for things to clear my mind after a hard worked week. Outside activities are therefore my favorites. So in a way, it is multi-purpose :) I catch up with the time spending with children and also get to clear my mind.
So we arrived to the farm. On the right side we immediately see the different kinds of rabbits.
Children want to have a rabbit at home, but until now I was able to succeed in delaying their request. Let's see how long this postponing behavior will last :)
The peacocks are also walking around, without disturbing or getting disturbed by the children around.
Obviously there are also sheep and goats in the farm. You can pay a small amount in a small building, which also serves as a cafe, to get some food to feed the goats.
We all love to drink chocolate milk with whipped cream! :) It's great to drink warm chocolate milk on a fresh day.
There are also a couple of cows and a beautiful horse on the distance...
A playground with sand is always a good idea if you want to attract children. And so they enjoyed some time playing with sand, filling cups, trying to make objects, while we sat and had a nice chat with an unknown old lady who came to admire the playing kids.

She said that watching children play makes her happy. And we were happy to have a chat with her.
There were lots of other smaller animals in the farm like birds, guinea pigs etc.

They made a list of animals (with their names :)) as inhabitants of the farm. Funny :)
It was a nice day with outside activity. We enjoyed the fresh weather, chatting with people, spending time with children on a beautiful autumn day.
Have a nice weekend!
