The sushi dinner with a prize

The sushi dinner with a prize

August 2019 · 2 min read

Everyone loves Japanese sushi, who doesn't???? Ok, there might be some of you who don't, but honestly, you don't know what you're missing in life, especially when you can have so much fun during your meal. I'm talking about Kura Sushi, a conveyor belt sushi store where the food strolls across your table and you can just take whatever you fancy. This is our dinner table tonight, the conveyor belt on one side and the aisle on the other.

There's a video screen at each table above the conveyor belt. You can order food from the video screen if there's something you fancy but hasn't come round on the conveyor belt. The food is delivered to your table automatically on another conveyor belt above the one that normally delivers the rest of the food. The cleverest thing is that it actually stops right in front of your table and no one else can intercept it. If you notice carefully in my video, you will see someone else's order zoom by pass our table.

Do you see the box about the video screen? That's this store's USP and one of the reason most people come here - other than the fact its cheap and cheerful and good quality. For every 5 plates of food you eat, you will get a chance to win a little prize. The screen will play a cartoon video where the character has to achieve certain tasks. If he wins, you win, and if he loses, you lose. I'll let you watch my video to see how to start the cartoon video, how many rounds of games I played, and how many prizes I won.

Kura Sushi has many stores around Japan, some in USA and Taiwan, and I believe some in Australia as well. If you have a chance, I would highly recommend you go as it offers quality food, fun and great value all in one dinner. Just look at those girls on the other table, it seems like they've just arrived in town, and can't wait to visit.
