Praia Monte Verde/ Azores

The wonderful Beach, which is called Praia Monte Verde is located directly in Ribeira Grande São Miguel, on the Azores. But the place is a bit hidden and not immediately visible for the most of the people.

A small idyllic paradise, marked by volcanic earth and sand. The sand shines radiantly dark, almost black. If you look closer, you can discover white grains in this dark sand, which comes from the white limestone. Really small shells pass through the sand as if it only consisted of it in some places. A true miracle of nature. This is what I saw here for the first time in my life.
On the Azores there are more and more nature reserves, understandably if you take a look at the flora and fauna here for a minute exactly, you discover a wonderful biodiversity of the most different plant genera. I think it is very good that the politicians attach importance to the preservation of nature and promote this.

This beach is special and very rare, as hardly any tourist finds here, rather the inhabitants of the island go surfing on this beach and it is considered as a little insider tip that I have now betrayed. Ashes over my head. Be careful with the information.

Monte Verde Festival 2019

Hardly anyone knows anything about this place, but even well-known musicians like EAGLE-EYE CHERRY, JOSS STONE, T4X1, VITALIC, DEALEMA, FRANKIE CHAVEZ, MISHLAWI, MORBID DEATH, PHOENIX RDC, PROFJAM, TIAGO NACARATO, BRAZIL DUB, FITACOLA, MACOW & GONGA, SIPPINPURPP, YUZI, will perform this year at the "Monte Verde Music Festival 2019". It will be a gigantic festival, which will take place directly on this beach.
From August 8-10 the hell will go on here, because all these artists will come to Praia Monte Verde to share their musical art with the audience and the wild ocean.

Ribeira Grande will be the host city this year and the beach of Monte Verde will be the stage for the music festival, providing a varied, dance-inspired performance. Electronic beats as well as rock, reggae and indie pop will be heard in loud tones this year.

Even artists like the German Reggea singer Gentleman performed at the festival.

Let's see if I will be there this time, too, in any case I will enjoy the idyllic peace and quiet of this little corner of the world for a few more days.

Praia Monte Verde/ Açores

A maravilhosa Praia, que se chama Praia Monte Verde, está localizada directamente na Ribeira Grande São Miguel, nos Açores. Mas o lugar é um pouco escondido e não é imediatamente visível para a maioria das pessoas.

Um pequeno paraíso idílico, marcado por terra vulcânica e areia. A areia brilha radiantemente escura, quase negra. Se olhar mais de perto, pode descobrir grãos brancos nesta areia escura, que vem do calcário branco. Conchas realmente pequenas passam através da areia como se ela só fosse composta dela em alguns lugares. Um verdadeiro milagre da natureza. Foi o que vi aqui pela primeira vez na minha vida.
Nos Açores há cada vez mais reservas naturais, compreensivelmente se olharmos para a flora e fauna por um minuto, descobrimos uma maravilhosa biodiversidade dos mais diferentes géneros vegetais. Penso que é muito bom que os políticos dêem importância à preservação da natureza e a promovam.

Esta praia é especial e muito rara, como dificilmente qualquer turista aqui encontra, mas os habitantes da ilha vão surfar nesta praia e é considerada como uma pequena dica interior que agora traí. Cinzas sobre a minha cabeça. Cuidado com as informações.

Festival Monte Verde 2019

Quase ninguém sabe nada sobre este lugar, mas até mesmo músicos conhecidos como EAGLE-EYE CHERRY, JOSS STONE, T4X1, VITALIC, DEALEMA, FRANKIE CHAVEZ, MISHLAWI, MORBID DEATH, PHOENIX RDC, PROFJAM, TIAGO NACARATO, BRAZIL DUB, FITACOLA, MACOW & GONGA, SIPPINPURPP, YUZI, irão actuar este ano no "Monte Verde Music Festival 2019". Será um festival gigantesco, que terá lugar diretamente nesta praia.
De 8 a 10 de Agosto o inferno vai continuar aqui, porque todos estes artistas virão à Praia Monte Verde para partilhar a sua arte musical com o público e o oceano selvagem.

A Ribeira Grande será a cidade anfitriã este ano e a praia de Monte Verde será o palco do festival de música, proporcionando um espectáculo variado e inspirado na dança. As batidas electrónicas, bem como o rock, reggae e indie pop serão ouvidos em tons altos este ano.

Até mesmo artistas como o cantor alemão Reggea Gentleman se apresentaram no festival.

Vejamos se desta vez também lá estarei, em todo o caso desfrutarei da paz e tranquilidade idílicas deste pequeno canto do mundo por mais alguns dias.

Praia Monte Verde/ Azores

Der wundervolle Praia Monte Verde befindet sich direkt in Ribeira Grande São Miguel, auf den Azoren. Doch ist der Ort etwas versteckt und nicht gleich sichtbar für die Masse.

Ein kleines idyllisches Paradies, welches vom Vulkangestein gekennzeichnet ist. Der Sand glänzt strahlend dunkel, schon fast schwarz. Beim näheren Betrachten entdeckt man auch weisse Sandkörner, welche vom weißen Kalkgestein stammen. Wintzig kleine Muscheln durchstringen den Sand, als würde dieser an manchen Stellen nur daraus bestehen. Ein wahres Wunder der Natur. Sowas habe ich hier das erste mal gesehen.
Auf den Azoren gibt immer mehr Naturschutzgebiete, verständlich schaut man sich die Flora und Fauna hier einmal genauer an, entdeckt man eine wundervolle Artenvielfalt der unterschiedlichsten Pflanzengattungen. Ich finde es sehr gut, dass die Politik hier Wert auf den Erhalt der Natur legt und dieses fördert.

Dieser Strand ist besonders und sehr speziell, denn kaum ein Tourist findet hierher, vielmehr gehen die Anwohner der Insel hier surfen und es gilt als ein kleiner Geheimtipp, welchen ich nun verraten habe. Asche über mein Haupt. Geht mit der Information sorgsam um.

Kaum einer weiß etwas über diesen Ort, doch selbst bekannte Musiker wie EAGLE-EYE CHERRY, JOSS STONE, T4X1, VITALIC, DEALEMA, FRANKIE CHAVEZ, MISHLAWI, MORBID DEATH, PHOENIX RDC, PROFJAM, TIAGO NACARATO, BRAZIL DUB, FITACOLA, MACOW & GONGA, SIPPINPURPP, YUZI, werden hier dieses Jahr zum “Monte Verde Musik Festival 2019“ auftreten. Es wird ein gigantisches Festival werden, welches direkt am Strand stattfinden wird.
Vom 8-10 August wird hier die Luzi abgehen, denn all diese Artisten kommen zum Praia Monte Verde, um ihre musikalische Kunst mit dem Puplikum und dem Ozean zu teilen.

Ribeira Grande wird die Gastgeberstadt dieses Jahr sein und der Strand von Monte Verde wird dem Musikfestival die Bühne bieten, und somit für eine abwechslungsreiche, tanzlastige Darbietung sorgen. Sowohl elektronische Beats, als auch Rock, Reggae und Indie Pop werden dieses Jahr in lauten Tönen erklingen.

Selbst Künstler wie der deutsche Reggea Sänger Gentleman sind auf dem Festival aufgetreten.

Mal schauen, ob auch ich diesmal mit von der Partie sein werde, auf jeden Fall werde ich noch einige Tage die idyllische Ruhe an diesem Fleckchen Erde genießen.
