Healing water in the Azores

Foreword

Phew, now I've somehow chosen a theme that would fit into so many categories.
First of all it fits as #travel post to #travelfeed, of course. It's obvious.
But since I write especially about the healing effect of the springs, it also fits to #naturalmedicine, because after all this is about a natural healing method, right?
But now I have a video to upload, what now? I use @d.tube to upload and not the travelfeed.io or naturalmedicine.io webpage.
I hope that I will be forgiven by the last two. Because if I have the choice YouTube or #d.tube, then the decision is obvious, right?
Nevertheless, I hope that both @naturalmedicine and @travelfeed will forgive me and still accept my articel.

Azores, secret healing place?

The nine islands of the Azores are a small, undiscovered European paradise in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It is often called the "Hawaii of Europe" and some say it is the sunken city of Atlantis.
No matter how everybody calls it, it has a lot to offer that is missing for city dwellers!

The Azores, especially São Miguel and Graciosa, are known worldwide for their thermal baths and warm springs.

Already at longest past times it drew the rich people and aristocrats to these small islands, in order to use exactly there the healing forces of the springs at the volcanoes and to cure thus some an illness. Whether you like to chill in the warm salt water with a view to the sea or in a pool full of ferruginous water in the middle of a forest you prefer to bathe and heal, in the Azores you get both.

Hot springs

It is well known that the hot springs of Furnas have been used for centuries. They are among the most visited sights on the island of Sao Miguel.

Furna's springs have healing properties

There is of course no scientific evidence yet, but these springs, the sulphurous water of Furna, have a reputation for healing. Can also be with the vast amounts of minerals.
People from all over the world use and appreciate exactly these healing powers of the natural thermal baths. It is said to help with diseases such as rheumatism, bronchitis, circulatory disorders and skin diseases, relieve pain and symptoms or even heal completely.

Have you already been there?
How did you like it?
Leave me a feedback.

For me it was perfect. I had a cold. Running nose and stuff like that and after a wellness-healing weekend there I was healthy again. So my experience.

Azoren, geheimer, heilender Ort?
