I have passed by this bus stop area many times during my travels from Baguio City to Metro Manila and back over around two decades now.

There are few take-away stores in the area. Most of the stores do not have particular name. On few instances when I asked how are they supposed to be referred to, the crew in the store said they are collectively called "Sison Bus Stop."

This is one of the take-away stores right in front when you approach the bus stop area. I actually took this photo while I was still inside the bus and on my way out.

As I approached the store during my latest trip from Baguio City, more and more people were convening. We were from different buses stopping over and the passengers trying to make do with having meals or snacks or do the call of nature within a short 15-minute stop-over.

The store has quick meal items like cup noodles amd packed meal set; all ready to be taken away just in case the buses are about to go.

Aside from the cup noodles and packed meals, there were also street foods like fish balls, kikiam and turon. On different days, they have different dishes ģlike bibingka or baked rice cake, squid balls, boiled egg, balut, hotdogs and more. The squid balls, hotdogs and fish balls are usually just prepared in sticks and will be cooked as and when an order is placed. That somehow gives us an assurance that their food is freshly cooked.

They do not have menu so I had to ask for the price every time I place an order. I can say though the the prices are very reasonable.

I got this stick of fish balls with 12 pieces for P25.00 (US$ 0.49) and took them in the bus. Not bad for a quick snack on the go.

Oh, why don't they look like balls? I can not explain the science behind it but those were balls befote they were fried. For some reasons, they shrunk.

I am looking forward to something new on their display on my next stop-over..
