Welcome to my today's travel blog. You may recall that I made a post about visit to Utuwankanda two days ago. Today I am going to mention a beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. That is ***Bo Falls.***
Our next aim was to visit ***Bo Falls*** to relieve the exhaustion caused by the Utuwankanda mountain climb. Because of the shape of a Bo leaf, it is called ***Bo Falls*** and is a beautiful waterfall.
***Bo Falls*** is located about 5 km from Mawanella on the Colombo-Kandy road. You can take a vehicle to the falls. So visiting the falls is not too difficult. We has to crossed the Utuwankanda junction and come 400 m to the left on the Kondeniya road.
Absolutely stunning visual created from ***Bo Falls.*** Whole environment was superb with noise of water flows and cool winds. ***Bo Falls*** originates from Ma Oya. Anyone who travels on the Colombo-Kandy road knows about this. The Mawanella town passes through the brick bridge over which the Ma Oya.
The surrounding area of ***Bo Falls*** is a unique beauty. Under the shade of the Kumbuk tree, the coolness of the water with the soft stone slab will relieve you. Look at brilliant scenery of the water flows.

The villagers said that it is very important to be cautious when bathing here. They said that insecurity is the end of many lives here. Especially after after exceeding alcohol level someone don't think about their lives. So they reach to the deep places. I always care about villager's instructions.
We could walk among the stones in ma oya water flows. That was very slippery way. But we totally care about us. Those days less raining to this area. So we could climb Utuwankanda mountain and walked through ***Bo Falls.***

Sometimes water flows was much stronger. I watched few minutes about both stone and water combination. Without one object never created tremendous waterfall. We could this visual since very closely.
There are some beautiful long history stories about this waterfall. Many people have visited this waterfall but they may not know much about this history. Also, I would like to request the security of the place and to bring back the items that you bring with you in the environment, such as polythene, plastic, glass.
