Hello everyone, Welcome to my today's travel blog. I got short break without travel experience. These days really struggle period for our travel experience because corona virus bring us only one place. I have hope everything will be better ASAP and then will start travel journeys again. This time I'm going to share most historical place of Sri Lanka name called Kudumbigala.

Kudumbigala Tapo Forest is a historical site on the way to see which national park is a wildlife destination. That's tea path of Kumana national park. Every places had very naturally because the owners are every forests, wildlife.

There are more large trees grown both sides of the roads. From Colombo we came to Ampara and thence to Panama. It is a journey through the jungles of Panama to Kumana, a forest of wild animals. The journey to Kudumbigala Tap forest 12 km to Panama.

>There are many temples built in the reign of King Kavantissa of Panam Pattu which belonged to Ruhuna during the reign of Kavantissa. Kudimbigala was a land of 12000 Arahats during the reign of King Dutugemunu. Although it belonged to the Ruhunu Magama in the past, when the English conquered Sri Lanka in 1815 and left the area under the control of Panama, the area remains separate from the Ruhuna country.

While our journey we could see the Kudumbigala historical since down of the mountain. Yeah..That was amazing creativity of the nature. There was warmest climate because Kudumbigala located dry zone in Sri Lanka. But very deserve climate for walking and hiking.

We started to climb on rock and few minutes later very reach to this historical place. We saw sitting Buddha statue top of the rock. I think those days lives most amazing creators than nowadays. They built amazing creations without modern technology and materials.

My eyes searched everywhere of this historic place. Yeah..Kudumbigala is a oldest temple located amazing and difficult place. I was wonder how ancestors brought materials to this place only from walking.

This area is made up of huge rocks and piles of rock. According to the findings, the history of the ruins of this place dates back to a long time. Two large rocks are close to the beach. The biggest rock is Balumgala.

Look at this. There was water pit on the stone. I was wonder how water filled top of the mountain under without rain since long times. Maybe our ancestors had various trick for store water on the rock those days. Our history bring old things to current and then next generations.

Since top of the Kudumbigala anyone can see amazing landscape. I could see Indian ocean since here. Also big water stream could see with lagoon. Also you can see Kumana national park much better since where I sit. There was more various sizes of stones.

Oh my god...I was forgot where I stayed that moment. I felt I'm in middle of the big forest. This is a perfect place for deep meditation. There is no electricity in this sacred place. It is important to have electricity in this area which is a very difficult road. There is no elephant fence on either side of the road as there is no electricity. Elephants roam in this region, which combines both the Yala and the Yala. We have to protect this historical location for next generation. So Thanks for reading.
