Memories of Mount Kukulagala, another beautiful land that nature has given to Sri Lanka.

Hello everyone, welcome back. Today I'm going to share my perfect adventure journey where I climbed Kukulagala mountain. The Kukulagala peak is 1531 meters high which is considered as a boundary dividing the Nuwara Eliya and Kandy Districts. Above the Wilpassa Lake, this mountain of pride boasts a unique ecosystem.

We came to Kukulagala from Colombo via Rikillagaskada town. Rikillagaskada is the last urban area to be visited on this tour. From there, turn left on the Dimbulkumbura road and turn left from Kondatenna Junction to the Wilpassa village.

It's willapassa lake. The villagers were reminded not to use this tank for bathing. This is because the machine is designed to get deeper and deeper into the water for cultivation.

The climate was perfect for our journey. We entered the Cunanwatta road near the lake and from there we followed the footpath through the Fines forest. The road through the pines jungle is a fairly steep, rocky road with a steep, slippery slope.

Although large pines cover the mountain, other large plants can be found. We faced big foggy condition still our climbing.

A large number of animals live in this ecosystem. Of these, tusks, pigs, and rodents are frequently seen. In addition, information received from the villagers that the mountain tiger and the endemic Sri Lankan native are living in the area. So we were careful much.

We were more happiness that moment because we reached very nearest moment of the destination.

Although the Kukulagala forest is dry, the leeches are still in the herd. It was known as Kukulagala as a chicken came and cried. From the top of this hill, there are signs of a difficult path to find in front of you.

We have felt, we were in the sky like as birds. Such a lovely moment we faced. I forgot how I climbed difficult and risk hike.

That was our greatest lifestyle achievement. Because our every hiking journeys was challenge to anybody who attended. If struggles didn't came to us we couldn't finished memorable travel experience. Sometimes we were scared. Sometimes we were very cool. That's our life. I'm enjoying my life much better. Finally we started to down from the hill.
