CAPE ON TUNISIA !

Cape on Tunisia
There are not better stops than those where friends are waiting for you. Spending several days of solitude at sea to find the welcome of those who once shared with you unforgettable moments of life, is certainly the most beautiful experience at sea.

Maesha finally passed Algeria, wedged between the cargo route and the fishermen's playground. Not easy to rest easy in these conditions. Periods of 20 to 30 minutes of sleep are the maximum that I allow myself. The body eventually gets used but at this rate, the body is exhausted. Five days of this sleep rate will eventually make me forget the alarm clock.

BETWEEN FISHBOATS AND CARGO

Fishboats
On board, I try to keep a pace of things that I find important to do. Cook well, do not skip any shower even when the sea does not want to go down to the bottom of the hull, have eaten and be prepared before dark, take stock at the same time every day ... And between these few moments of rigor, we must fill the time. The computer became the best friend of the Man in those moments, but the good old guitar and the wild saxophone sometimes come out of their case!

The Mediterranean also knows to find me reasons to take care ... The wind is changing several times a day, in force, in direction, in short, in whims. I think I have never lived in a sea where the weather conditions are so localized. She is not Latin for nothing!

Birds watching !
And then The Tunisian coasts is finally emerging. Impatience begins to grow, and memories to resurrect. This country that saw me grow up and in which I also lived as an adult seems to always be there for me. There is an atmosphere where everything has always seemed logical to me. It's pretty indescribable. I recognize the coastline, some coastal monuments, everything is there and waiting for me.

Arriving, I know that the procedures will have to be done, but they will be done with the greatest kindness, and always with this "welcome" which is not an empty word in Tunisia.
