Exploring the Yorkshire East Coast Day 5: Playdale Farm

July 2019 · 2 min read · England

Animals come in all shapes and sizes, I saw that when I went to Playdale Farm in Scarborough

I have a little brother so we thought we would do something for him for a change, we decided to go to Playdale farm which we were wanting to do at the start but it was raining.

We started it by driving to Playdale at 10AM around 1hr 30 min drive to get there. The first thing we actually did was go to a chick handling session where I got to hold a baby chick!

After that it was dinner time so we went to the cafe there. After the cafe we went over to the playground-ish park where I got to have a go on a go-kart and a zip-wire!

After the zip-wire we decided to go see some of the animals at Playdale starting with some of the smaller animals. We saw animals such as: Hamsters, Pigs and Birds! Then we went over to the place where we did the chick handling session to see some of the animals there, we saw some Alpaca's while we were there!

After we went through that part we went to have a look around the rest of Playdale. I also got to sit on a tractor.

After that, it was getting really late so we decided to head off for another 1hr 30min drive back to Thornwick Bay for the usual things.

And that concludes my journey across the Yorkshire East Coast! I'll be doing more journeys in the future so please keep checking! I'm currently planning a past journey series where I share some past experiences with you!
