Danke für die Geburtstagswünsche! Ich habe mich sehr über eure Nachrichten gefreut. Gestern sind Catharina und ich nach 6 Stunden Autofahrt von Kroatien wieder heil in Wien angekommen. Und jetzt habe ich endlich Zeit euch ein paar Urlaubsbilder zu zeigen.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I really enjoyed reading your messages. Yesterday Catharina and me came back to Hug Inn Vienna safely after a 6h ride from Croatia. And now I have time to share some holiday pictures with you.

Das war der Blick aus unserem Hotelzimmer im Bed & Breakfast Saint Alliance in Crikvenica. Der Balkon und die Gartenterrasse der Anlage waren perfekt, um sich nach einem langen Strandtag ein wenig zurück zu ziehen und zu entspannen.

This was the view from our private room at the Bed & Breakfast Saint Alliance in Crikvenica. The balcony and the garden terrace were perfect to relax after a long day on the beach.

Die Treppe führte direkt hinunter zur Promenade.

The stairs go directly down to the coast street.

Von dort aus konnte man an der Küste entweder nach Crikvenica oder in die andere Richtung nach Selce spazieren gehen.

From there you can walk right to Crikvenica or left to Selce.

Am ersten Abend aßen wir im im Hotel Restaurant Dida (Opa). Catharina bestellte Schwertfisch und ich Steak. Das Essen und die Atmosphäre ist wirklich besonders dort.

In the first night we ate at the Hotel Restaurant Dida (Grandfather). Catharina ordered sword fish and I took the beef steak.

Jeden Morgen gab es dort auch ein gutes Frühstück. Der Cappuccino war top.

In the morning we got a good breakfast there. The Cappuccino was awesome.

Crikvenica und auch Selce waren sehr voll. Im August ist Hochsaison. Ich hab das Gefühl halb Europa ist gerade am Mittelmeer.

Crikvenica and also Selce were really crowded. August is high season. I got the feeling half of Europe is at the Mediterranean Sea now.

An meinem 29ten Geburtstag gingen wir zu einem der wenigen Sandstrände Kroatiens.

On my birthday we went to one of the few sand beaches in Croatia.

Am Palace Beach ließ es sich aushalten. ;)

Am Abend genossen wir ein weiteres Mal ein besonderes Abendessen im Kantunic in Selce. Catharina bestellte die hausgemachte Pasta und ich die Calamari.

In the night we had another special Dinner at Kantunic in Selce. I ate the Calamari and Catharina took the homemade pasta.

Am letzen Abend schlenderten wir durch die Altstadt.

On the last night we walked through the old towns

Wie ihr an dem letzten Bild vor der Abfahrt sehen könnt hatten wir einen schönen Kurzurlaub in Kroatien. Morgen fahren wir nach Budapest. Nächste Woche gibt es wieder ein Update.

As you can see on the last picture we had a wonderful short vacation in Croatia. Tomorrow we will drive to Budapest. Next week I will update you again.
