Today I share my beautiful Sunday with a day of ascent on the cable car, to Avila or Waraira Repano National Park and to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the city of Caracas and the landscapes from above, to the vicinity of the famous Hotel Humbolt which is on the top of the mountain. To start this little Sunday trip, it is recommended to use the Caracas metro and stay at the Colegio de Ingenieros station, by the exit to Av. Libertador There is a bus stop that goes directly to the exit station that is in Maripérez, then Buy a round trip ticket to start the enjoyment from above. The cable car funiculars will begin the ascent at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and the closure will be activated at 7:00 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday. And on Fridays and Saturdays they will operate until 9:00 p.m. and on Sundays until 8:00 p.m. Before the pandemic, the Cable Car System staff had started a campaign on their social networks to invite Venezuelans to enjoy the icon of the city, with special rates for children and older adults. This is for people who love nature and can enjoy these scenes of seeing the big city well. It is because of her presence that Caracas has been called the "Sultana del Ávila".

**El Avila National Park**

For the inhabitants of the City of Caracas, Venezuela, the greatest blessing they have is, without a doubt, the Ávila National Park, because it is a vegetable lung, as well as an excellent place for recreation and exercise and is undoubtedly a great ornament of this great city that gives it that spectacular beauty, being surrounded by this enormous hill, which can be viewed from anywhere in the city.
