I arrived in Canada 8 weeks ago with the goal to travel the country. I realized that I actually didn't travel at all since I came here. Sure, I was getting around Montreal. But I have to get some structure in this.

My life as well as my vlogs so far have been all over the place. Every video was a condensed version of the whole week. It's nice, but having the camera with me at any time, shooting during the week, editing in sometimes 14 hours straight is exhausting. At one point I was in a cafe, first customer walking in in the morning, last one to walk out in the evening. There is so much I want to tell you, but in order to do so I decided to rearrange everything.

Change no. 1: From now on I will make videos specifically about one topic. The van, my travels, couchsurfing and so on.

Change no. 2: I will take it a bit more easy with the deadline. Since I was forcing myself to do one video per week which contains basically the whole week, I was stressing myself out. I will still try to stick to the one video a week rhythm, but since I will report more specifically about certain things, I will not be that stressed out
with the edit that much.

Changing these two things makes it possible for me to take my time for the edits, as well as planning things more ahead.

This being said, the recap of my week is summed up pretty fast. The crowdfunding money all of you amazing people out there arrived! Finally having some budget, I gave Harrison new front tires, got his stabilizer-bar fixed, his brakes redone, the wheels aligned and finally a rust treatment to finalize the fight against this dusty brown stuff eating up the car. But that is basically it, all these things I could not do by myself so I had to pay other people to do it. There goes the money. But at least we both are now able to go for a longer ride without being scared to strand by the side of the road somewhere in nowhere.

But I also got to do more than this. As someone who completely relies on his caffeine intake, I got the basic appliances to survive: A butane stove and a Bialetti espresso maker. For now all the appliances Harrison needs to keep me in a good mood.

That's it for this week! Thanks for tuning in, more coming next week!
