ECOWILD: My experience with Eco Tourism

August 2018 · 3 min read · Mérida
Parks like most of us, but these that I have visited lately, are very different from what many are used to. And this is an agro-tourism park that has everything a little inside.

First, it is located via Páramo de la Culata in the State of Mérida in Venezuela. You will recognize it by some giant letters that say ECOWILD just as I indicated in the photo.
Once you enter, you leave your vehicle parked and you will be completely safe due to the great vigilance and that it is a totally perimeter park.

The first thing I noticed when I went down was the large amount of landscapes that were around me, starting with an imposing mountain and while walking the variety of flowers was present everywhere. We paid the entrance and had access to the attractions, and believe me when I tell them that I rode in all the adults can be mounted and hidden from my friends I could play several games of swallow coins for children hahaha.

The first attraction was to mount myself in the very feared mechanical bull, where after several minutes of meditating, I made the decision to do so. It was a spectacle, I only lasted 30 seconds and in one lap I fell and I screamed too much because of how scared I was, but, in short, I laughed too much about the shame I went through and at the end the goal is to have a good time. The cold was gradually descending and our coats were quickly covering us. We started walking to see all the facilities and decided to sit down for a while in a small restaurant that is on the banks of the river and where everything is grilled.

After resting for a while we decided to go to the contact zoo they also have and look at this beautiful sweetness that I got here:

##Walking on a horse is not my thing, but I think that my attempt to look like Doña Bárbara was not so in vain. Look at these beautiful landscapes:

They also feature a bow and arrow attraction

At 4pm you can access to observe how the mechanical milking of the cows that are there is done

The zipline was what most terrified me, but I could not leave without experiencing that feeling that you're going to die.
Well, I enjoyed it too much, it's amazing what you feel when you realize that you are suspended in a great vacuum:
