This short story is about mountains and about our choices. In 2016 I went with my friend to Western Tatra Mountains in Poland. We wanted to climb Roháče, two mountains in Slovakia - 2125m and 2088m. Pretty rocky and with some via ferrata. We got up very early and prepared everything for this trip…. It was windy day and when we managed to get to the point where we could start our climbing adventure the wind became stronger and stronger. We realized that it would be dangerous to climb those mountains. We were thinking for a while what to do, as we really wanted to go there… in the end we decided to give up. The next day we went also for some mountain hike, but we didn’t have any special goal… we just wanted to see some mountain Bystra (2248m) in Slovakia. In the end we discovered that view from this mountain was extremely beautiful. I was really suprised that this "not so fancy" mountain became the special one.

We started our trip from Mountain shelter on Chochołowska and also finished our hike there as we had accommodation there for few days. It also gave as a chance to stay longer in highest part of the mountains as we didn’t have to be in hurry to manage to gown down before night. We were there in June, so the day was long, weather was good and before season mountains were almost empty.

We could observe also Tatra chamois, which lives in highest parts of the mountains.
