Yet another stunning day spent in Jbay. The weather was perfect. Starting out with a cool breeze, over cast and slight drizzle. I love running when the weather is like that. Went out at 5am to run on the beach and watch the sunrise.
Then made our way to the estuary for horse ride beach trail. The kids have never been on a horse. So that was so much fun for them, and an experience they will treasure.
The late afternoon went to the fairground and subjected myself to some fun torture as they insisted I join in on the rides. Was great fun though and felt like a kid again, spinning around in tea cups and the like.
Love how no matter what the ages of those who went on these rides the unbridled joy and excitment just beams through the laughter and wide eyed smiles.
These are certainly some of my favourite things. Had so much fun and relaxed like I have never done for a very long time. The holiday is almost at an end. I cannot believe bow quickly it is going and promised myself to stop thinking about that and just enjoy my time away and take in all the peace and quite before heading back home to get stuck into 2020.
Being in the moment has to be one of the most important life lessons to consistently keep in check. Being present makes all of life explode with great memories of beautiful experiences. Learning to breathe, and love life again after many years of distracted focus one tiny step at a time.
