Great three | last part | Modica

This part concludes my short series of posts about the three most beautiful cities in southern Sicily. This post is about Modica.

In the morning, having slept well and having breakfast, we again examined the most beautiful places of the city of Ragusa. In my opinion, Ragusa is the most interesting place I have listed.

After 15 minutes of a leisurely ride, we ended up in a free parking at the entrance to the city. I don’t know how for you, but for me this question is very important.

At first glance, I had the opinion that Ragusa is very similar to a huge amphitheater, where instead of the audience there are city streets. The most spectacular rows are on the left. If you go from the north, it will be on the right. Actually, this is not so important. :-)

What moments are most vividly remembered? The abundance of pomegranate trees. Brightly burgundy overripe fruits lying on stone stairs and pavements. What an impermissible luxury! At my place, pomegranates are very expensive. In Modica, pomegranates cost nothing!

The abundance of flowers gives the streets an indescribable charm and comfort.

Every tourist who comes to Modica must have certain sports skills. Countless slopes and climbs. It seems to me that all the inhabitants of Modica have strong legs and a trained heart.

One of the signs of any southern Italian quarter is a group of old seniors discussing the latest news about politics and their favorite sports team.

We really liked the lemon drink with gas. We asked Coca Cola, but the waitress said, "How can you order Cola while we have such a great drink!"

In my opinion, the optimal duration of a visit to Modica is no more than one day. This is enough to enjoy the architecture and spectacular panoramas. It makes sense to end the tour with lunch at a local restaurant.

Данная часть завершает мой небольшой цикл постов про три красивейших города юга Сицилии. Этот пост посвящается городу Модика

Утром, хорошо выспавшись и позавтракав, мы повторно осмотрели самые красивые места города Рагуза. На мой взгляд Рагуза наиболее интересное место из перечисленных мною.

Через 15 минут неспешной езды мы оказались на бесплатной стоянке на въезде в город. Не знаю как для вас, а для меня этот вопрос очень важен.

С первого взгляда у меня сложилось мнение, что Рагуза очень похожа на огромный амфитеатр, где вместо зрительских рядов находятся городские улицы. Наиболее зрелищные ряды находятся слева. Если поедете с северного направления, то это будет справа. Собственно это не так уж важно. :-)

Какие моменты вспоминаются наиболее ярко? Обилие гранатовых деревьев. Ярко бардовые перезрелые плоды лежащие на каменных лестницах и мостовых. Какая непозволительная роскошь! У меня дома гранат стоит очень дорого. В Модике гранат не стоит ничего!

Каждый турист приехавший в Модику должен иметь определенные спортивные навыки. Бесчисленные спуски и подъемы. Мне кажется все жители Модика имеют крепкие ноги и тренированное сердце

Одна из примет любого южно итальянского квартала - это группа пожилых синьоров, обсуждающих последние новости о политике и о любимой спортивной команде.

Ещё запомнилась лимонная газировка. Мы просили Коку, но официантка с возмущением ответила, в духе, как можно заказывать Колу, когда в наличии такая замечательная лимонная бодяга!

На мой взгляд оптимальная продолжительность посещения города Модика не более одного дня. Этого вполне достаточно, дабы насладиться архитектурой и эффектными панорамами. Есть смысл завершить Экскурсия обедом в ресторане местной кухни.
