A Short Adventure: Seferihisar-Yakarca

while going to the island with Erhan

Last week my wife and me went to a short holiday, just for three days in Seferihisar. It is a small coast town in Izmir. I took a few pictures in night and i want to share them. Meanwhile i want to tell a few word for the lens : Carl Zeiss Biotar 75mm f1.5 . It has an unique swirl bokeh and extraordinary sharpness even though wide open aperture. It has also great contrast and color rendering. Of course it has a weakness : flare.

It was really hot day in Seferihisar and really calam noon and we both were bored swiming and sunbathing with my uncle's son,Erhan. So we decided to go to the island and wandering there.

Firstly i want to say it is not a real island it is a land near the mother land and you can reach there walking through the sea and it was a really cool, funny and short adventure for us.

Here, where the the island lies in Akarca District which is really small nice fishertown of Izmir and it is close to Sigacik Marina where is realy wonderful place for the people who are looking for privacy, silence and a chilling sea.

There are plenty boutique hotels and camping areas which are quite cheap. And you never get a food problem in there...Maybe you do not like Turkish meals so there are a lot of Brands which are known by the world, like Mc Donalds , KFC in Sigacik
