Eskisehir is one of the most beautiful cities of Anatolia, which is among the domestic tourism stars in recent years.The start of high-speed train services from Istanbul, Ankara and Konya are the factors that are effective in increasing the interest of the city.
Adalar region, Odunpazarı semti, Kursunlu Mosque and Sazova Park are the most important sightseeing spots.
Eskisehir, which dates back to the 14th century BC, has been home to many important things for centuries. In the twelfth century BC, the Phrygians were controlled by the city, which was home to great civilizations such as the Lydians, the Persians and the Romans. In the recent history, Eskişehir is attracting attention with its struggle in the War of Independence. Today, the city attracts attention with its universities, operas, theaters and developed urbanism.

1. Historical Odunpazarı Area
Odunpazarı is the oldest residential area of Eskisehir. In recent years, with the successful tourism investments made in the region, it has got a completely different aspect. There are many historical mansions, fountains, museums you can visit in the region.
According to the story, the first arrivals to Eskişehir were one to Odunpazarı and one to the center of Porsuk Brook. When they see that the liver hangs on this point later, they settle here.
Ottoman and Turkmen settlement forms are reflected in the buildings in this old settlement of the city. These houses, which carry traditional Ottoman architecture, are mostly two storeys. There are sections such as hall, kitchen warehouse on the lower floors, while the doors that usually open to the back garden are located at the end of the hall. On the upper floors there are rooms. Today, although the architectural structure of the houses is known to be damaged, there are also constructions which have preserved the old form.
2.Porsuk Brook ve Adalar Discrict
The longest branch of the Sakarya River passes through the Porsuk River in Eskişehir. As you can see on the map, Porsuk is actually passing through many points of the city. The most famous of these is the region called "Islands" by the locals. This is the north part of the map. Parallel to Doctor Street.
There are many cafes and restaurants around Porsuk Brook today. The gondolas and bot tours, which take place in spring and summer, where the weather is nice, add a different beauty to the region.
3. Sazova Science Art and Culture Park
Although many parks have been built in Eskişehir in recent years, the most famous of these parks is Sazova Park. The Science, Art and Culture Park with its full name is located on Eskişehir-Kütahya road. Especially the park where children can have a very enjoyable time is really big and there are many sections to take care of.
Eskisehir attractions such as Fairy Tale Castle, Pirate Ship, Eskisehir Zoo, ETİ Underwater World, Japanese Garden, Sabancı Space House, Science Culture Center, Esminyatürk, Turkish World Cultural Center are some of the important places in this park.

4. Eskisehir Aviation Museum
The museum, established by the 1st Air Supply and Maintenance Command in Eskişehir, was transferred to the university in 2011 according to the protocol signed between Anadolu University and the command. Before this date, while the museum's care and visit responsibility was under the control of the soldiers, the museum completely employed civilians after the devolution.
Eskisehir Aviation Museum has a large number of aircraft. There are models still in use in these airplanes exhibited in open space. Among the models used are aircraft such as F-4 Heavy Bomber Aircraft and C4 Transportation Aircraft. However, these planes have filled their lives and have been placed here since they were restored. It is located right next to the entrance with a missile ramp that is visible to everyone. A little further ahead, there is a transport plane that used to be a café but turned upside down. This aircraft was damaged during the Cyprus War and was given to the museum after repair. Also open are police helicopters, aircraft that have been used for various purposes and have gained historical qualities.

Where do i stay in Eskişehir ?
Eskisehir has many quality hotels due to its student population and its developed industry. You can stay in thermal hot springs in the city as well as in many new modern hotels in the new residential areas. The majority of the towns are located close to each other. University Boulevard and Ismet Inonu I Street are ideal places to stay. There are many cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues in the region. Most of the hotels are within a 15 minute walk of the train station. The city's most popular shopping center Espark AVM is here again. Most places to visit such as the Porsuk Brook and the Islands region are located within a 15-20 minute walk.
How can i get to Eskişehir ?
If you are outside of the Turkiye,of course, at first you need to come to Istanbul,Turkiye and then from Istanbul you can use airways,railways or highways to Eskişehir.
