Today is the 6th of May,Wednesday, the 47th day of our stay at home with my family because of the Corona Virus. Today i want to write about an old trip of mine.1st day of January 2014 was really cold day in Izmir. But we have already decided to go to Gölcük,Bozdağ which is approximately 2 hours away from Izmir.

Obviously, after deciding to go to Bozdağ, 4 friends sat down and talked about what we should get and made a division of labor. In this way, we could start our journey more quickly.

We bought almost everything except meat that we would make with us. On the way, we went to Bozdağ to shop for meat from a big market and listen to music in the car.

The road was quite nice at the beginning, but as we approached Bozdağ, the roads were broken. In the meantime, we thought that there is some snow in Bozdağ, but unfortunately the local climate conditions caused us to be wrong. The last parts of the road was a fairly winding mountain road.

The circle of Gölcük Lake is approximately 5 km. In other words, a person can comfortably take a normal pace within 1-2 hours. The track is safe, intertwined with nature and enjoyable. Absolutely recommended. If you lose yourself in Gölcük flavors and feel guilty, we recommend the lake tour for sports purposes. Here you can fish in the lake, take a walk (towards the lake or towards the mountains) just like we do, you can just barbecue and enjoy the nature.

Obviously, after we walked for about 20 minutes, we had a barbecue and ate our meat and we drank our tea.

While we were drinking tea, he came with many friends. We shared our food with them, of course.

I took a few long exposure shots from where we were while drinking tea. There was no snow in sight, but the air was really cold, and as the evening approached, the air began to cool down. When we thought that we had a long way ahead and we would all work tomorrow, we understood that we had to set out. Actually, we all wanted to stay longer. It was a unique experience to have tea, listen to the sounds of the wind and animals and chat with friends you love in front of the unique scenery of the lake.
