Majestic Rocks and Crystalized Seawater At Rock Formations Southern Leyte

June 2023 · 3 min read · Southern Leyte

When we heard that it's a beach, common things we'd expect to see. White sand, small characteristics of the sand and beautiful sea, well sea is always given that it's beautiful.  Most people prefer to be on a white sand beach where it's perfect for social media posts. Well, who doesn't love that milky-white sand along the beach? Even though I would love that, I realized something when I visited this rock formation along the beach.

Unlike other beaches, you can not find many people swimming and enjoying this beach. Maybe because it was not promoted in the public and it was not developed to be called a beach resort. There are no cottages and people who manage because I think it's not easy to build establishments there. Many people know this place but they only visit here for photography like pictorials of prenup weddings, pageants, social media posts, and more. I don't understand why people don't like to spend time here for swimming, camping, and picnicking.

For me, it's nice to swim here, the deep sea under these rocks will be amazing to jump on like children. You can tell how clear and clean the sea is. It's not polluted by garbage because not many people come here. We all know that too many visits to a place will end up dirtying a place. In here, you can caress the beauty of the view and also of the crystalized sea.

Visiting this place is free, maybe for now. I heard rumors that it would be developed soon by the municipality but no budget for now. Well, I think that it's perfect to visit this place for now. If we wait for the beautification of this place I don't think it will be peaceful and clean.

The place is called Rock Formation randomly by the people who visited here. Maybe it is called formation because of the rocks that overlook the sea. It looks like a mountain with no grass and plants those rocks near the sea.

The rock is wide enough that someone can enjoy running and playing before jumping into the sea. Just be careful because rocks are around it, and incidents might happen. The only thing that might bother the people here is that it's an open place. If it's a fine sunny day you can not hide from the hotness of the sun.

Morning time might be a perfect place to be in this place. When the sun is not that high and hot.
