PUNTA BEACH

PUNTA BEACH

December 2019 · 3 min read · Southern Leyte

The town of Macrohon is small and most of the places in our province is near in the sea and near in the mountain. The town of Macrohon is I think still far from civilization. Not all villages are reachable of internet connection and even worst. There are villages have no network signal for calling or texting. From the first image you'll think it's along the mountain but actually it's going to the sea.

If we're talking about beach of course it's about the sea. However this beach cottages where you can place your food or the place you'll stay after you swim from the sea is in the cliff. There are different owners of the beaches and some of them are near in the shore. The beaches here are so relaxing. As you can see the cottage it was sorounded by many tree's. Although it's quite a distance from the sea but it's not that far.

You can see the sea even you're in the cottage. Now let's have some view in walking from the cottage to the shore.

The sorounding is nice right? You'll enjoy the view of the trees at the same time you can see the sea beneath.

Now this is your path in going to the sea. It's beside the cottage of the beach. The rocks of course are sharp so you must be careful. This is the rock I'm talking about.

You can fine the rock when you're taking this path in going to the sea and here's some view from a bit far of the shore.

There you have those sharp rocks now let's have see what's the beach will offer when you're there already.

Just bear with it, it's not that far but just hold a little. We're almost there, here..see...

Now, we're talking. This is it, the white beach of Flordeliz Macrohon. I don't know why they call it "punta" but based on my opinion. "PUNTA" is a tagalog word means "let's go", so maybe that's what they're telling into the name of the beach.

INFORMATION:
From Macrohon town you can arrive in this place for maybe 10-20 minutes. You need to ask the destination of this place because you can't see it along the road. I think 2 km from the national road to arrive in the beach. There's a motorcycle you can ride in going there.
There's no entrance fee of each people there but their cottages or shed house is worth of 300 pesos or 6 us dollars.
There are store's in there and electricity but there's no in for travelers. Only sea and cottage yoy can find there. Just swimming into the sea and goes home after.
That's the information I can share but if you want to know more you can hit that comment below for questions.
